Marx Weber, the famous sociologist of Germany, who is one of the most effective and controversial scholar at the same time beyond doubt in the contemporary domain of the social sciences. His works and lectures get along pulse of the times tightly, but the culture subject that he had thought and introspected has exceeded restriction of the times, which has been enough to initiate descendants' attention. How do Weber's sophisticated and intricate thought display before us, and to direct our development of society with one kind of well-regulated overall so? The study depends on his classics and refers to the annotations which one had made. The researcher views the source of thought and the background adopting to a method of explanation from the experience of his life. At the same time the researcher explains the methodology of social science and the history of social development. On the base, the researcher suggests that rationalization is the core of Weber' thought. Then the researcher states the base, the concept, the development and the consequence of thought of rationalization. The researcher tries to find that the hypothesis of the development of capitalism and profound rethinking of the value of life which Weber made.
