Objectives:The purpose of the present study is to achieve the following objectives: Firstly, this thesis is trying to explore the condition and influence factors of family function of the patients with gynecological malignant tumors. Secondly, the research attempts to depict the current situation of sex, affective feeling, physiological and psychological problems and expectation. Thirdly, the paper will provide well foundation to formulate human-based clinic nursing measures.Methodology:The data cover 81 patients with gynecological malignant tumors who go to a doctor in the gynecological tumor department of Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital from September 2009 to January 2009 and 83 couples with well health condition who are chosen at random. The thesis examines the family function and its influence factors by questionary, Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale-II and Family Assessment Device. The entire data are statistical analyzed by the ware SPSS13.0.Results:Firstly, FACESII-CV shows that the level of adaptability and cohesion of family group with healthy couples is less than family group with gynecological malignant tumors patients (P<0.01).Secondly, Family Assessment Device illustrates that the general functioning has statistical meaning. The lower mark of family group with gynecological malignant tumors patients indicates the decreased family function. There is no statistical meaning in analyzing problem solving(P=0.717)and behavior control(P=0.072)of two groups of families. On the contrary, the scores of communication, role play and affective responsiveness and involvement have statistical meanings.The low scores of family group with gynecological malignant tumors patients in latter four aspects show that their distinct declination and defect in family function. Thirdly, influence factors of family function include simultaneously negative events, ages, years of marriage, other diseases and character of subjective. Fourthly, the research finds postoperative patients will have low quality of sex, feel self-abased and remorseful towards husband, lack information recourses and expect normal sex. Conclusion:The conclusion can be drawn that families with gynecological malignant tumors patients have lower function than families with healthy couples especially in the aspects of communication, roles and affective responsiveness and involvement. The study wishes to draw much attention of clinical nurses toward the patients with other simultaneously negative events, young ages, short periods of marriage, other diseases and depressed character on the above mentioned aspects. More support should be given and direct nursing measures should be adopted to exert positive influence on patients'physique and psychology. Radical operation of gynecological malignant tumor affect normal sex of patients, thus decrease their living quality. Therefore, in clinic relevant postoperative sex education and emotion support should be offered to help patients to restore roles in family and society. In addition, effective methods and techniques ought to be introduced to nurse patients back to healthy sex as soon as possible.
