The Rresearch On The Elements Of The Speciality Core Competence Of Public Affairs Management In Medical College

Core competence as a concept, was first proposed by U.S. economist Prahalad and Gary Harmel in 1990, which is published in the "Harvard Business Review", is a new concept in business management. In "The company's core competencies, " a paper presented its descriptive definition. Core competence is the accumulation of knowledge in the organization, particularly on how to coordinate the skills of a variety of products and unify a variety of technical channels. It is not only the binder which could join the existing business units, but also the engine of new business. As a source of sustainable competitive advantage and a new stage of strategic management development, the theorists and practitioners have carried out extensive research on core competence at home and abroad since it was proposed.It has caused them highly concerned about that some scholars and practitioners had introduced the core competitiveness of enterprise management theory into the college management in order to seek the origin, which could can make the college survival, development and competitive. With the advance of economic globalization and market economy development, education market has been formed. The increasing competition between universities was reflected in the institutions and regions from a macro point of view, competition between speciality and speciality is the micro-reflection. Therefore, it is a fundamental strategy to introduce competition and improve speciality core competence for every speciality who seek to achieve its sustainable development.The objective of this study includes the following. To develop Lhe elements index system of speciality core competence of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou Medical College. To Study the relative importance of indices and calculate their weight, provide some reference ideas for speciality core competence building of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou Medical College, which is also support some basic data for the speciality core competence evaluation index system of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou Medical College.We Selected and identified the speciality core competence elements through "the Questionnaire of the Speciality Core Competence Elements of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou " by twice Delphi. We developed "the Questionnaire of the Speciality Core Competence Elements Index Weight of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou" to collect data in order to determine their weight. We use Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to calculate the target weight and analyze the data though the statistical software Excel,matlab 7.0Through twice Delphi, we identify the Elements Index System of Speciality Core Competence of Public Affairs Management in Guangzhou Medical College. According to the hierarchical structure of the Elements Index System as a framework, We made the following recommendations:(1) to accumulate the core resources in speciality construction and compact the basic strength of Speciality Core Competence;(2)to improve the core capabilities in speciality construction and enhance the strategic strength of Speciality Core Competence; (3) to optimize the core product in speciality construction and broaden the valued strength of Speciality Core Competence.
