ObjectiveTo revision the Chinese version of the six dimension scale of nursing performance and test the reliability and validity. By avaluation the nurses competence level in the 3A-level general hospital in Shanxi Province,To explore the feasibility of the scale in Chinese nurse, and analy -ze the influence factor, A aim to provide effective assessment tool to evaluate the competence of clinical nurses , To give evidence to develop competency-based level management system for the nusing managers and provide a basis for the nursing staff continuing education and career planning.MethodsFirstly.getting consent, authorization of Dr. schiwirian, and revised he six dimension scale of nursing performance (6-D), translation, back translation and cross-cultural testing6-D Scale English version in accordance with psychometric scale cross-cultural adaptation process , Chinese version 6-D Scale established,A total of nine hundred clinical nurses was selected from nine 3A-level general hospital of 11 prefecture-level cities in Shanxi Province. By cluster sampling method and surveyed by the Chinese version 6-D Scale, All fingding data obtained through investigation are input SPSSl6.0 and liser8.7statistical software to exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to test the Chinese version 6-D scale reliability, validity and other psychometric properties,and analyze the influence factors of clinical nurses.Results1 The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of 6-D scale1.1 Reliability of the scaleThe internal consistency cofficient of 6-D scale was 0.959. the Cronbach'sɑcoefficient of the dimensions rang is between 0.780 and 0.899, The split-half reliability cofficient was 0.816. Test-retest intraclass correlation coefficient ICC was 0.857.the scale has good reliability.1.2 validity of the scale1.2.1 content validityThe item should express the content of 6-D scale accurately by rigorous translation, back translation,cross-cultural adaptation, by logical reasoning, empirical study and the advice from different areas 10 experts. Spearman correlation coefficients of the items and the total scale rang between 0.479 ~ 0.455 (P <0.01). the scale has a higher reliability.1.2.2 Criterion validity By evaluation of head nurse and self-assessment to test, correlation coefficients ranged between 0.810 ~ 0.844, statistically reach significant.1.2.3 Construct validity:The factor component analysis method is used for exploratory factor analysis. exploratory factor analysis extracted five common factor eigenvalues greater than 1 that can reflect the 52.293% information amount. 5 factors for all items Load values above 0.4. theoretical structure of data analysis consistent with the structure of the original scale, almost all the items have been expressed fully in above five factors. The confirmatory factor analysis is used to verify the structure of the scale. X2 goodness-of-fit test (X2/df = 3.72) , goodness of fit index (GFI = 0.96), adjusted goodness of fit index (AGFI = 0.98), root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA = 0.062).shows a good model fit. Factor analysis results are basically consistent with the scale structure. The scale has a better construction validity.2 The current status and influencing factors analysis of evaluation of clinical nurses 3A-level general hospital in Shanxi Province2.1 The current status of clinical nurses competence2.1.1 Score of clinical nurses( x ? S): overall score of 160.220±21.425. the highest score is interpersonal / communication skills37.773±5.829, followed is teaching / cooperation 32.254±5.806, the lowest score is the leadership competence 15.411±2.652, followed is planning / assessment 21.299±3.743. scale scores follow a normal distribution.2.1.2 The impact of population sociology factors on clinical nurse competence single-factor analysis showed thatThe study shows significant statistical differences in overall clinical nurse competence scores which are different work position, departments, marital status, professional interest and participation in teaching. There are significant statistical differences in specific dimension scores which are different personnel status, age, care ages, income monthly.2.1.3 The impact of population sociology factors on clinical nurse competence stepwise regres -sion analysis indicated thatThe important influence factor of nurses overall competence are departments, marital status professional interest and applying competenceThe influence factor of nurses leadership competence are applying competence,age,education and professional interestThe impact factors of nurses critical care are departments, age, marital status and applying competenceThe important factor of teaching / collaboration are professional interest,applying competence and involved in teachingThe important factor of planning / assessment are professional interest and applying competence The important factor of professional development are professional interest ,applying competence and marital status.Conclusion1 After above test , six dimension scale of nursing performance has good reliability and validity, Surveying simple and test comprehensive is advantages,it provides a reasonable and workable assessment tool and provides a theoretical basis for the further study for the evaluation clinical nursing competence of Chinese cultural context and nursing hierarchical management based on competence.2 departments, marital status, professional interests, education and applying competence are influence factors of clinical nurses competence, nurses managers should be based on nurses competence take layer management, It help clinical nurses competence can be better apply to provide higher quality care.
