Clinical Research Of Xiaoning Oral Liquid On Treatment Of Cold Asthma In Children At The Period Of Onset

Objective:This study tries to observe clinical effect of Xiaoning Oral Liquid and conventional therapy of western medicine on treatment of cold asthma in children at period of onset, evaluate the efficiency and safety of Xiaoning Oral Liquid objectively.Methods:This article observes the clinical effect of Xiaoning Oral Liquid on treatment of cold asthma in children at period of onset. Take 60 cases of cold asthma in children whose age is above 5 years as research object, divide into two groups, Treatment Group and Control Group, each group 30 cases. The Treatment Group take Xiaoning Oral Liquid, and Control Group apply conventional therapy of Western Medicine. Observe systematically and record the score changes of main symptoms and secondary symptoms, asthma symptom, then analyze with statistics methods.Results:1) Clinical Effect:the treatment Group with 73.3% Excellence Rate and 96.6% total effective rate, the Control Group with 90% Excellence Rate and 96.6% total effective rate, there is obvious difference in Excellence Rate (P<0.05), but no obvious difference in total effective rate (P>0.05).2) Main symptoms and signs of asthma:obvious improved after treatment for both groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01). There is no obvious difference between groups in the symptoms of dyspnea, wheezing and shortness of breath (P>0.05), but obvious difference in the symptoms of cough and coughing up phlegm (P<0.05).3) Secondary symptoms of cold asthma:there is obvious difference between two groups in the improvement of secondary symptoms and the condition of tongue and pulse (P<0.05), except the mind and urine (P>0.05). The score of Treatment Group and Control Group after treatment has obvious difference (P<0.05).4) Score of asthma symptoms and signs:obvious decreased after treatment for both groups (P<0.05), there is no obvious difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions:Xiaoning Oral Liquid has lower excellence rate, but similar total effective rate with Western Medicine Group, it is even better than Western Medicine Group in relieving the TCM symptoms, there is no adverse effect in the treating processes, so it is quite safe. It not only allows patient's family far away from trouble of stewing medicinal herbs, but also avoids the side effect of Western Medicine. Xiaoning Oral Liquid obtains satisfactory clinical convenience, it is quite valuable for further spread.
