Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Huatang Prescription On Children Asthma In Remission Stage

Objective: By observing the changes of the main observation indexes of asthma remission stage in children before and after treatment,the clinical efficacy of reduce phlegm theory in treating asthma remission stage in children was evaluated objectively.Methods: A total of 80 children with asthma in remission in the Pediatric Outpatient Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.Oral Huatan Decoction Tablets were taken as the treatment group,and Oral Juerhong expectorant cough solution was taken as the control group.Both the treatment group and the control group were treated according to 1 week as a course of treatment,and the conventional treatment time was 2 courses of treatment.During this period,communication was maintained and follow-up was conducted for half a year.Observe the change of curative effect indexes of children before and after treatment,and conduct statistical analysis on the data.Results: In the treatment group,5 cases of the children with shortness of breath,sputum and other major observed symptoms basically disappeared,and 12 cases of the children with obvious improvement in clinical symptoms were considered to be significantly effective.In the control group,the main observed symptoms,such as shortness of breath and sputum,basically disappeared in 0 cases,and the clinical symptoms were significantly improved in 8 cases.The clinical symptoms were slightly improved in21 cases,which were effective and 11 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate in the treatment group was 90.00%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 72.50,which was better in the treatment group than the control group(P < 0.05).In conclusion,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of shortness of breath and sputum(P < 0.05),and was better than the control group in reducing the incidence of disease(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Phlegm-reducing prescription is a safe and effective medicine in the remission stage of asthma in children without obvious adverse reactions and side effects.
