Research On Original Factors To Anger Of Emotional Disease Patients

Objective:Anger is one of the seven emotions in the impassioned cause theory of TCM, It is the negative emotion that can not be beard, is the greatest impact on interpersonal relationships and most closely with the occurrence and development of Emotional Syndrome. According our previous findings:"Anger-in and anger-out are two different ways in the anger expression", "External factors hamper the individual desire to achieve is a sufficient condition leading to anger, in some situations even the necessary conditions". In a word:life events are the origin factors to angry mood. However, what is the relativity between life-events and anger? Which life events could cause the anger? Could different life events cause different emotions?Thus we choose the Graves disease which is related to life events and anger as our objective to study the Relationship between the life events and anger of hyperthyroidism patients, in order to explore what life events caused anger and anger-in/anger-out for hyperthyroidism patients. The results will further validate the hypothesis "Life events are the originating emotional factors to trigger anger".This will develop the Emotions pathogenic theory in TCM and guide hyperthyroidism patients prevention and treatment.Methods:Firstly, through theoretical researching we found that:emotions, anger, the liver, the life events are close linked with hyperthyroidism. Then we selected 581 cases of hyperthyroidism from four hospitals in Jinan Shandong Province to epidemiological status of the investigation.The specially trained investigators sent out questionnaires on-site, and the subjects filled out survey questionnaires:the general questionnaire, STAXI-2, Life Event Scales. Recycled questionnaire and input data, statistics and analysis the date with the two non-conditional Logistic regression. In the life events, OR> 1 is served as risk factors of anger-triggered and anger-out/in-triggered, OR< 1 is took for protective factors of anger-triggered and anger-out/in-triggered.Results:there are 120 cases of male and 461 female in 581 cases of hyperthyroidism,the rate is 1:3.83; 20-40 years old Patients accounted for 44.5% hyperthyroid patients surveyed; anger-in 85 cases, anger-out 67 cases, the susceptibility rate were 14.6% and 11.5%.The frequency Top 10 of life events:"the pressure of work and study," "love, or engagement," "marriage", "add a new member of the family", "Pregnancy," "child discipline difficult", "Family financial difficulties, "" serious illness or serious injury,"" significant changes in patterns of life,"" not satisfied with current job "," husband and wife feeling bad."" Stolen, property lose"," serious illness or seriously injured" "incompatible with one 's colleagues neighbors" "husband and wife feeling bad" "be misunderstood, false accusations and discussion" "incompatible with the lover's parents" are positively correlated with the hyperthyroid patients of anger-out,these are the risk factors to occurrence of hyperthyroidism patients of anger-out. And " seriously ill or seriously injured" " incompatible with one's colleagues neighbors " "not satisfied with current job," "family financial difficulties" are positively correlated with the hyperthyroid patients of anger-in."seriously ill or seriously injured"," incompatible with one's colleagues neighbors " or "child discipline problems,"" be misunderstood, false accusations and discussion," are positively correlated with the hyperthyroid patients of female. "Love or engagement" is the risk factors to occurrence of female hyperthyroidism patients. "Not satisfied with current job" is the life event triggered the male hyperthyroidism in anger-in. We did not find the life event triggered the male hyperthyroidism in anger-out.Conclusion:Through the studying of relationship between life events and anger, we initial understand which life events triggered the anger of Hyperthyroidism, Further tested and verified:life events were served as stimulate source, which can arouse anger, anger-out and anger-in reaction, which deemed that "external factors obstructed wish fulfillment, which was sufficient condition of giving rise to anger, even it was necessary condition of it under certain circumstance". The result will develop the emotions pathogenic theory in TCM and guide hyperthyroidism patients prevention and treatment.
