Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Acupuncture Combined With Catgut Implantation At Acupoint Treatment Of Vertebral Disc Herniation

Objective:This clinical research is about using catgut implantation combines with acupuncture to cure lumbar disc herniation, observing clinical efficacy of catgut implantation combines with acupuncture to cure lumbar disc herniation. To find out the way of effective non-surgical therapy to cure this disease.Method:There are 60 examples of fitted standard of lumbar disc herniation patients. Randomly divided into 30 examples as experimental group and the other 30 examples as control group. Two groups are using same acupoints to do electric acupuncture:Shen Shu(BL23),Da Chang Shu(BL25),Wei Zhong(BL40),Cheng Shan(BL57),Yang Ling Quan(GB34),Xuan Zhong(GB39),Qiu Xu(GB40). Matching acupoints are:cold-damp lumbago with Yao Yang Guan(DU3),Yin Ling Quan(SP9); hygropyretic lumbago with San Yin Jiao(SP6),Yang Ling Quan(GB34),Qu Chi(LI11); blood-stasis lumbago with Xue Hai(SP10),San Yin Jiao(SP6); kidney deficiency lumbago with Ming Men(DU4),Tai Xi(KI3),Yong Quan(KI1). Three times a week, three weeks as a course of treatment, and continuous treatment of two courses. Experimental group:the acupoints of two sides of lumbar disc herniation, Jiaji (EX-B2), and two sides of Bladder Meridian Foot-Taiyang, BL. is Ci Liao(BL32),Zhi Bian(BL54), total is 8 acupoints. Dividing into two groups to do alternative therapy; once every seven days of treatment, three weeks as a course of treatment, continuous treatment of two courses.Result:1. Determine the efficacy of the standard reference to the State Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine published "Chinese disease diagnosis and efficacy standards" sets the standard of lumbar disc herniation. Result: 60 cases of patients in the experimental group of 30 patients, clinical cure rate of 9 cases,15 cases of markedly effective, effective in 5 cases, and ineffective in 1 case. Control group of 30 patients, clinical cure rate in 1 case,8 cases of markedly effective, effective in 20 cases, and ineffective in 1 case. There are 24 cases of effective case (healed+markedly effective) for experimental group, the rate of effective is 80.00%. It's significantly higher than control group in 9 cases, the effective rate of 30.00%.2. According to result of analyze "JOA rating scale for low back-pain, " 60 cases of patients, experimental group of 30 patients, the total average score was 13.27±2.68; control group of 30 patients, the total average score of 8.87±2.99. experimental group were significantly higher (P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupoint catgut-embedding therapy is having variety stimulate through planting cutgut, and inhibit the site of pathology messaging. So that the lesion produced by poor stimulation conduction delay and some parts of muscle nerves get rest and restoration at the same time, after planting the catgut, part of vessel will be dilated and improving the local microcirculation pathological state of tissue ischemia and hypoxia, and also normalization of local metabolism to speed up the absorption of inflammation.
