Purpose:The purpose of this clinical study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation under the guidance of the meridian theory, clarify the advantages of acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of LDH,and for the future clinical application of acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc Outstanding symptoms provide a new theoretical basis.Methods:60 patients with lumbar disc herniation in accordance with this study were admitted and divided into 30 observation group(acupoint catgut embedding)and 30 control group(ordinary acupuncture). The acupoints used in the treatment of the two groups were the same.Visual Analogue Score(VAS)and Japanese Orthopaedic Association Score(JOA)were used to evaluate the patient’s condition before and after treatment and during the follow-up one month later, and the data was analyzed through SPSS software.Results:1.After the treatment, the total effective rate of the acupoint catgut embedding group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the ordinary acupuncture group was 86.67%.There was no statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The patients were followed up one month later, and the effective rates of the acupoint catgut embedding group and ordinary acupuncture were 90.00%and 70.00%,respectively.There was statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.After treatment, the JOA score of the two groups were higher than before treatment, and the VAS score was lower than before treatment(P<0.05);at the end of treatment, the JOA score of the acupoint catgut embedding group increased better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and the VAS score decreased It is better than the ordinary acupuncture group, and there is no difference in JOA score and VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05).At the follow-up 1 month after treatment, compared with before treatment, the JOA score of the acupoint catgut embedding group increased better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and the VAS score decreased better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group;compared between the two groups,JOA score and VAS score were statistically different(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint catgut embedding and ordinary acupuncture have significant effects in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. However, from the perspective of short-term efficacy, acupoint catgut embedding is better than ordinary acupuncture in improving lumbar spine activity and relieving pain, but it has no significant advantages. From the perspective of long-term efficacy, compared with ordinary acupuncture, acupoint catgut embedding has significant therapeutic advantages in improving lumbar spine activity and relieving pain. |
