Clinical Significance Of CD24 Protein Expression In Human Bladder Carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the expression of CD24 and its correlation with pathological grade,clinical stage,and prognosis in bladder carcinoma.To provide theory basis on finding the guideline of malignance and prognosis of bladder carcinoma and new therapy of bladder carcinoma.Method: Immunohistochemical method was used in detecting CD24 in 43 bladder carcinoma,10 normal bladder mucosa.1).Observe the expression of CD24 between bladder carcinoma and normal bladder tissue; 2).Analyse the relation for the expression of CD24, among bladder carcinoma clinical stage, pathology grade and prognosis.Results: CD24 protein was mainly localized at cellular membrane and cytoplasm of malignant cell (positive case was 27) but it only one case expressed in normal bladder mucosa (n=10).The expression of CD24 was significantly different in different grade bladder carcinoma (P<0.05),The expression of CD24 in G1-3tumor group was 33.3% (3/9),63.6% (13/22),91.7% (11/12) respectively.The rate in G3 group was higher than that in G1 group(p<0.05).The expression of CD24 was higher in invasive tumor 80.7%(pT1~pT4) than noinvasive tumor 29.4%(pTa)(p<0.05).By 29 in checking 43 example bladder cancer patients, example skill last 2 years follow-up finds that:The expression of CD24 was significantly different between the recurrence(75.0%,9/12) and non-recurrence tumor group(29.4%,5/17)(P
