Objective: To analyze the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of some HIV/AIDS patients in our department, to provide the basis for the further prevention and the treatment of HIV/AIDS in Xinjiang. Methods: The clinical datas of 136 HIV/AIDS cases were collected and analyzed in clinical features and laboratory tests in our department from August 2004 to March 2006. The summary and analyzes of the HIV/AIDS patients' clinical features, recovery, the relation of CD4 T lymphocytes and the opportunistic infection. Results: The136 cases of HIV/AIDS patients accepted in our department, thier ages are ranged from 30 to 40 years. And most of them are Uighur males (69.12%) For these patients, the way of transmission of HIV/AIDS is intravenous drug use (IVDU), and most of the patients with HIV/AIDS are jobless and have lower income. The rate of male and female patient is 2.2:1.The main clinical manifestations include fever, night sweat, weight loss, tiring, anaemia and low protein.and various skin and mouth infection. When they have lower level of CD4 T cell count (<200/ μl), they often suffer from various kinds of, which are mainly TB36.03% (including 41 cases pulmonary tuberculosis), fungi infection. The HIV/AIDS patients with IDUS also company with HBV or HCV infection. Their CD4 T lymphocyte count is increased within 6 months. There are more opportunity and categories to combination opportunity infection (OI) when CD4 T lymphocytes count less. And the total number of WBC, lymphocytes and CD4 T lymphocytes was remarkably reduced. We have 56 cases use HAART, among them 17 patients were survived. After...
