Objective:Understanding of Shanxi Province, Taiyuan city and the surrounding areas of AIDS patients general conditions, route of transmission, clinical manifestations, treatment and hospitalization costs and so on, in order to provide help in AIDS prevention and control, for the government to formulate the AIDS related policy provides certain theory basis.Methods:(1) In the infection branch of the fourth people’s hospital of Taiyuan,There were126hospitalized AIDS patients as research object from2004August to2011October (2) to the patient medical record information includes:sex, age, cultural degree, the discovery of AIDS way, latency, the main symptoms, opportunistic infections, CD4T lymphocyte count, antiviral therapy, medical costs, and the survival status information as research content.A retrospective analysis of126HIV/AIDS cases from August2004to December2011was completed by using SPSS statistical analysis.Results:(1) the data incidence cohorts were mainly young and middle-aged, of which20to40patients accounted for65%; males (73%) than women (27%); the investigation of AIDS patients, culture level is general on the low side, wherein the junior middle school and educated persons accounted for73.8%.(2) various routes of transmission are shown, in the survey of AIDS patients, male in the bloodstream infections in intravenous drug users infected with21.7%,9.8%, through sexual infection57.6%(main avenue). Women in the blood of infected with61.8%(main avenue), intravenous drug users infected with2.9%, the sex infection from17.6%AIDS patients; infection analysis of the change of year after year, sexual contact (including men and male homosexual contact) has been for the past three years (52.6%,75%,76%) to replace the blood transfusion infection and become the main route of infection in patients with aids.(3)In the investigation of patients,36cases had relatively clear by the blood of history (28.57%),36cases of patients with AIDS incubation period for a minimum of5years, the Iongestl6years, average annual8.5-13.7.(4) the majority of patients (84.2%) is in the hospital only to find AIDS; the most common clinical symptoms were fever (65.1%), cough (48.4%), weight loss (47.6%), fatigue (36.5%), shortness of breath (22.2%); CD4+T cells<200/mm3was84.53%; opportunistic infections the incidence rate of92.1%, the most common opportunistic infections are:oral fungal infection (34.1%), pulmonary tuberculosis (31%), pulmonary fungal infection (26.2%), Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP)(19%), other pneumonia (13.5%);75%patients the presence of2or more than2kinds of opportunistic infection. While both opportunistic infections and other complications such as hepatitis C, hepatitis, syphilis patients accounted for37.3%.(5) in this group of cases92.1%accepted the national free antiretro viral therapy,10patients before antiviral therapy because of serious opportunistic infection in death, as of2011December,77%patients are still in existence.(6) hospitalized patients hospitalized in the shortest time is only1days, the longest duration of hospitalization for693days, the average length of stay for27.00±38.00day, a length of minimum cost to73yuan, while the highest costs amounted to189461.4yuan. The average hospitalization expenses of hospitalized patients is12045.87yuan.Conclusions:Taiyuan District AIDS transmitted mainly through sexual transmission; clinically with fever, cough, weight loss and shortness of breath is a common symptom; opportunistic infection manifested as multiple systems, a variety of pathogenic microorganisms coexist; respiratory, digestive system is the most common site of infection. AIDS patients have been in advanced stage when the general treatment, increased the difficulty of the treatment, patients and the community increased burden, increase propagandist, early diagnosis, early treatment is very important. Antiviral therapy radically reduced the mortality, prolong the survival time of patients with aids.
