Polymer flooding is one of most important technical method in maintaining thesustainable development of Daqing Oilfield in the later stage of high water cut. Reservoiris extremely heterogeneous in Daqing Oilfield at large, zonal injection technology is usedto solve the interlayer contradictions resulted from the general injection mode duringpolymer flooding. And the flow parameters of polymer solution injected should be adjustedby zonal injection allocation due to the different requirements of injection when zonalpolymer injection is used. As to the problem mentioned above, a new zonal injectionallocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzle and jet target is developed.The pressure drop and the viscosity loss of polymer solution flowing through zonalinjection allocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzle and jet target can be changed to meetthe requirement of injection through adjusting nozzle diameter and target distance.The influences of nozzle diameter and target distance on pressure drop, viscosity lossand flow rate when the polymer solution, which can be regarded as power-law fluid,flowing through zonal injection allocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzle and jet targetare studied in this paper.Based on dimensional analysis theory, the criterion equation of flow of polymersolution through zonal injection allocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzle and jet target isestablished;the corresponding parameters of polymer solution flowing through zonalinjection allocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzle and jet target are measured throughlab experiments with different nozzle diameters and different target distance;multi-varietylinear regression routine is programmed based on least square method and Gaussianelimination;and pressure drop regression formula and viscosity loss regression formula ofthe flow of polymer solution in zonal injection allocation of cylindrical cavity with nozzleand jet target are obtained through regression analysis by the multi-variety linearregression program;the curves of pressure drop and viscosity loss rate versus flow rate,target distance and nozzle diameter are drawn, and the behavior of nozzle pressure dropand viscosity loss rate curves are analyzed in this paper.The results mentioned above are of theoretical meaning for the optimizing ofgeometrical size and flow parameter of zonal injection allocation of cylindrical cavity withnozzle and jet target.
