Research On The Development Factors And Modes For Industrial Clusters In West Of China

Industrial clusters which attracted many scholars to notice and research were most important economic phenomenon in past 30 years and became the great power driving the proceeding of industrialization and development of territorial economy. The development of industrial clusters is positive interrelated to the level of territorial economy as well as the research of industrial clusters, so few scholars cared about the industrial clusters of west china, which is underdeveloped area for the industrial clusters, and few works about the conditions of development of industrial clusters in west china could be found.Combining the theoretic method with practical means, this paper researches the factors which affect the development of industrial clusters and the developmental patterns of industrial clusters on the base of the urgent requirement of developing the industrial clusters in west china.In order to resolve the problems of whether the industrial clusters could develop in west china, this paper researches the conditions and experience of development of industrial clusters in Silicon valley, Cambridge industry area, Indian Bangalore and Italy, analyze the channel and experience of development of industrial clusters in east china, then form a five factors model of industrial clusters' development through comparing them. In order to clear the research direction and emphasis of conditions of industrial clusters' development in west china, this paper analyzes the concept of regional industrial clusters, the features and cases of regional industrial clusters' development. It considers that the research about conditions of industrial clusters' development must analyze five factors about enterprise, profession, inside region, outside region, government and reveals the position, function and relationship of these factors.In order to establish the factor system of industrial clusters development in west china, this paper analyzes the factors of enterprise, profession, inside region, outside region and government which influence the industrial clusters' development, discusses their positions, function and interrelationship. Then it makes a conclusion that if we want to develop the industrial clusters in west china, we must make full use of these factors, remove obstacles and create advantages to give full play to these factors functions, at the same time, harmonize these factors complementing each other and coordinated developing.In order to develop the industrial clusters in west china, this paper uses the outcome of above research, analyzes the favorable circumstances of developing industrial clusters and puts forward the patterns and suggestions of developing industrial clusters inwest china.
