As an important cooperation mechanism to maintain economic globalization and multilateralism,the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership(RCEP)has attracted the attention of many countries since it was proposed.On November 15,2020,China,Japan,South Korea,Australia,New Zealand and ASEAN officially signed the RCEP agreement,which greatly deepened the international capacity cooperation among RCEP countries.China ’s capacity cooperation with relevant countries within the RCEP cooperation framework will accelerate China ’s industrial transformation and upgrading,improve the quality of industrial development,and further promote the smooth progress of China ’s dual carbon goals.Under the background of carbon neutrality,studying the capacity cooperation between China and RCEP countries will help to grasp the basic situation of industrial development of all parties,clarify the level of industrial carbon emissions in China,and provide some reference for China to clarify the key cooperative industries in the process of capacity cooperation.In the first chapter,this thesis expounds the background and significance of studying the capacity cooperation between China and RCEP countries,and summarizes the relevant research status at home and abroad.Secondly,in the second chapter,the concept and related theories of capacity cooperation are introduced.The third chapter selects the industrial competitiveness and complementarity index respectively,grasps the industrial development level of each cooperative country,analyzes the key areas of future capacity cooperation between China and RCEP countries,and finds that China and RCEP countries can use each other ’s advantages to carry out industrial cooperation.Through the time series analysis method,the prospect and development space of industrial cooperation are predicted.In the future,the industrial cooperation relationship between China and RCEP countries will remain close.In the fourth chapter,while combing the current status of carbon emissions in China ’s industrial sectors,the carbon intensity and carbon emission efficiency are measured.The carbon intensity level and carbon emission efficiency level of China ’s industrial sectors are clarified,which provides the basis and support for China ’s industrial selection in capacity cooperation.The results show that there is a big gap between carbon intensity level and carbon emission efficiency in different industrial sectors in China.The industries with high carbon intensity index and low carbon emission efficiency are mostly concentrated in the steel industry,non-ferrous metal industry and energy resource industry.For the above key industries,we hope to help China achieve the goal of carbon neutrality by carrying out more efficient and high-level regional international capacity cooperation.Finally,the fifth chapter of this thesis fully considers the actual development of the industries of both sides.On the basis of understanding the needs of industrial development,it distinguishes the industries with cooperative value,explores the key content of cooperation,and puts forward strategic suggestions based on the theoretical research results,hoping to promote China and RCEP countries to establish a long-term and stable capacity cooperation relationship. |
