Research On The Transformation And Upgrading Path Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry Based On Disruptive Innovation

As a strategic and pillar industry,the equipment manufacturing industry has become an important indicator to measure the development of a country.At present,China’s equipment manufacturing industry,however,the overall level of innovation and international competitiveness is not strong,some of the core technology is still in the field of others and even some areas,such as high-grade CNC machine tool shows the characteristics of industry of low-end,face is "locked" for a long time in the risk of global value chain low-end links,transformation and upgrading of industry is imminent.One of the important reasons why China’s equipment manufacturing industry is large but not strong is the lack of innovation drive and the lag of technological innovation ability has seriously hindered the improvement of the competitiveness of China’s equipment manufacturing industry.Under the background of deep integration of industrialization and informatization and various technologies changing with each passing day,the technological level of China’s equipment manufacturing industry has been difficult to achieve technological catch-up through the traditional progressive technological innovation mode.Compared with progressive technological innovation,disruptive innovation is more exploratory and forward-looking,enabling equipment manufacturing enterprises to have the potential to create demand,lead the market,and even change the organizational model of production and operation,quickly occupy the niche market,and thus realize the rapid transition of technological level.However,at present,most of the researches on the transformation and upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry driven by disruptive innovation remain in macro descriptive analysis,and few systematic normative mechanism studies and path induction.Therefore,this paper firstly analyzes the connotation of equipment manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading and subversive innovation through literature research,defines the connotation,characteristics and elements of equipment manufacturing industry subversive innovation,and sorts out the relationship between subversive innovation and equipment manufacturing industry transformation and upgrading.Then,representative equipment manufacturing enterprises are selected as the research objects,and the grounded theory is applied to carry out exploratory multi-case studies on the realization mechanism and path of disruptive innovation in equipment manufacturing enterprises.The mechanism path model of disruptive innovation in equipment manufacturing enterprises is constructed,and the three stages of disruptive innovation in equipment manufacturing enterprises are summarized.Secondly,the fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis method is used to analyze the mechanism of the transformation and upgrading driven by disruptive innovation in the equipment manufacturing industry,and the two paths of "market-oriented transformation and upgrading" and "innovation-oriented transformation and upgrading" are extracted.Finally,based on the above theoretical model and empirical results,policy recommendations are proposed from the government,industry and enterprise levels.
