Empirical Study On Factors Influencing Trade Facilitation In Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone

Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone,one of the third batch of seven pilot free trade zones set up by the Chinese central government,has developed rapidly in recent years,but there are also problems of regional trade system and mechanism lag,and facing the deep development obstacle of trade facilitation.With the new requirements of high-quality development in China’s economic transformation and upgrading,Liaoning is also actively exploring new drivers of economic development in the new era environment.Therefore,it is particularly important to find out the influencing factors of trade facilitation in Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone and promote the trade facilitation in Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone from the source.Based on free trade zone theory,transaction cost theory,public governance and other relevant theories,this thesis examines the influencing factor of trade facilitation in the Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.Firstly,the research status of trade facilitation in the free trade zone was systematically reviewed,and the development status and existing problems of trade facilitation in Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone are analyzed.Secondly,it establishes an evaluation system adapted to the characteristics of the Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone,and calculate the comprehensive index of trade facilitation level according to the first-level indicators,so as to clarify the level of trade facilitation in Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.It constructs a fixed-effect model to quantitatively analyze the interactive channel and influence mechanism of trade facilitation drivers in Liaoning Province and Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.Finally,according to the above analysis conclusions,this thesis puts forward targeted suggestions on how to further develop the construction of Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.The study has found that market access,customs enterprise access level,import and export efficiency,goods clearance efficiency,regional development quality,residents’ quality of life,and public income level all show a significant positive correlation at a confidence level of 1%.Among them,the regression coefficient between goods clearance efficiency and import and export efficiency is the largest,with average coefficients of 0.6801 and 0.5483,respectively,It has played a promoting role in the improvement of trade facilitation in the Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.Market access is significant at a confidence level of 1%,and its average regression coefficient is 0.2947,indicating a positive impact of market access on the facilitation of free trade zones.The higher the level of market access,the higher the level of trade facilitation in Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone.Based on the above conclusions,Liaoning Pilot Free Trade Zone should improve the trade facilitation level of Liaoning Free Trade Zone from several aspects: further improving the port efficiency,promoting the construction of "single window" high standard,and accelerating the internationalization process of the free trade zone.
