With the acceleration of urbanization and economic development,people have higher and higher requirements for urban governance and management.The construction of smart cities is the trend of future urban development,and it is an area of widespread concern to the government and all walks of life.If Company X can seize this market demand and develop smart city business,it will be able to win more business opportunities.Company X is a small and medium-sized private enterprise and an emerging hightech enterprise with rich industry experience in smart city-related businesses.The company is mainly engaged in intelligent and visualized services for construction and government affairs.Although Company X is one of the three pioneers in the smart city industry in Hubei Province,it still faces many problems,such as a small company,limited market share,no core technology,imperfect corporate governance structure,and relatively single financing channels.With the current favorable policies and mature market technology,Company X needs to seize the opportunity,expand and optimize its business,and choose corresponding strategies to improve its core competitiveness in the smart city industry and achieve sustainable development.After reading a large number of related literatures and in-depth analysis of the market status and development trend of the smart city industry,this study puts forward the company’s future business development plan based on the current development status of X company and based on the relevant theories of strategic management.Secondly,internal and external analysis of the company is carried out through PEST analysis,Porter’s five forces model and SWOT analysis.Finally,after understanding the actual situation of company X and inviting the company’s employees to participate in the scoring of key factors,evaluate the company through the EFE matrix analysis of the external environment,the IFE matrix analysis of the internal environment,and the QSPM matrix analysis of the comprehensive environment,and analyze the smart city industry through evaluation The opportunities and threats in the environment and the strengths and weaknesses Company X faces.Based on this analysis,appropriate strategic suggestions are put forward for the development of X company’s smart city business,and corresponding implementation steps and safeguard measures are formulated.It is hoped that the research results of this paper will play a guiding role in the optimization of X company’s smart city business structure and expansion of business scope and the improvement of the company’s core competitiveness.At the same time,it can also help small and medium-sized private enterprises develop in the field of smart city construction in the future Provide new directions,new ideas and feasible suggestions.
