Problems And Solutions In Rural Tourism Development In Dongxing District,Neijiang City

In recent years,rural tourism has gradually grown into a new growth point for rural economic development,as well as a major breakthrough point for solving China’s "three rural issues," especially as people’s living standards continue to improve and their pursuit for a better life,rural tourism has gradually shown a strong vitality and become an important tool for promoting rural revitalization.It has evolved into an important tool for promoting rural revitalization.Domestic research on rural tourism development has increased,yielding rich results.Dongxing District,Neijiang City,Sichuan Province,as an important district and county of small and medium-sized cities in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle,has a good representative significance in rural tourism theory and practice.By applying Dongxing District of Neijiang City as a case study,the main goal of this paper is to analyze and solve problems in the development of rural tourism in Dongxing District.Specific countermeasures for the development of rural tourism in Dongxing District of Neijiang City in the context of rural revitalization are proposed using literature research,survey research,and case study research methods,so that rural tourism can play a greater role in rural economic development and provide reference for the development of rural tourism in similar districts and counties in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.The study yielded the following conclusions.Rural tourism is important in Dongxing District,and despite its late start,with the high attention and policy support of governments at all levels,it has made rural tourism develop continuously by integrating local characteristic resources,fully exploiting geographical location advantages,and improving rural tourism planning,which provides an industrial foundation for realizing rural revitalization.However,while rural tourism is rapidly growing,it still faces numerous problems and challenges.We discovered that rural tourism in Dongxing District has problems with single tourism products,backward infrastructure,poor planning and development,insufficient tourism publicity,and low tourist satisfaction through this paper’s research.How to break through the bottleneck of rural tourism development has become an urgent problem in the current competitive situation of rural tourism development.Given the shortcomings in the development of rural tourism in Dongxing District,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as correcting ideological concepts,emphasizing local characteristics,thoroughly exploring advantageous resources,improving infrastructure construction,scientifically formulating planning,and enhancing internal and external publicity.We create tourism resources with characteristics and high quality by applying the theory of industrial integration and sustainable development,and by insisting on the combination of development and protection,thus driving the masses to promote employment in rural areas,farmhouse operations,and farmers’ income through tourism.At the same time,we insist on integrating rural tourism with natural scenery and local culture,continue to explore new contents such as agricultural leisure and tourism,farming experience,and history and culture,develop more appealing projects through "industrial integration," realize cultural heritage,and promote rural economic development more effectively.
