"Internet+" And The Business Performance Of Return-to-Home Entrepreneurial Enterprises

Returning home to start businesses is an important way to develop rural economy and realize rural revitalization.Encouraging labor to return home to start businesses can provide talent support for rural revitalization,stimulate the development of rural industries,and help realize rural revitalization.The integration of "Internet +" and entrepreneurial enterprises has created new forms of business,which has become an important starting point to promote the development of returned-home entrepreneurial enterprises and an important means to achieve rural revitalization.Based on the data of 2,139 returning entrepreneurial enterprises in 2019 from the Labor Market Research Center of Beijing Normal University and Beijing Technology and Business University,this paper studies the impact of "Internet +" on the business performance of returning entrepreneurial enterprises.The research found that:(1)On the whole,online purchasing,online sales,and online recruitment can significantly improve the business performance of returning startups.(2)Heterogeneity analysis found that: from the perspective of the development level of entrepreneurial enterprises,online sales have a significant positive impact on the business performance of survival-type return-to-home entrepreneurial enterprises,and online recruitment has a positive effect on the business performance of development-oriented and value-based return-to-home entrepreneurial enterprises.obvious promotion.From the perspective of the regions where the startups are located,online recruitment can significantly improve the business performance of returning startups in the central and western regions;at the same time,online sales have a significant impact on the operational performance of returning startups in the central region,and online procurement has a significant impact on the returning startups in the western region.The impact of entrepreneurial business performance is obvious;the education level and entrepreneurial time of entrepreneurs have a positive impact on the business performance of returning entrepreneurial enterprises in the eastern region,while the performance of "Internet+" is not significant.From the perspective of the industries in which the start-ups are located,online recruitment has a significant positive impact on the business performance of returning start-ups in the primary,secondary and tertiary industries,and online sales will significantly improve the operation of start-ups in the primary,secondary and traditional service industries.Performance,online procurement has a significant role in promoting the business performance of entrepreneurial enterprises in the secondary industry.(3)Through further mechanism analysis,it is found that social network,innovative spirit and cost control are the mechanisms by which "Internet +" promotes the improvement of business performance of entrepreneurial enterprises returning home.The application of "Internet +" technology broadens the social network of entrepreneurs and strengthens the Its innovative spirit reduces the operating cost of the enterprise,thereby helping to improve the operating performance of the returning entrepreneurial enterprise.Based on the above research conclusions,it is recommended that local governments strengthen the training and continuing education for entrepreneurs returning to their hometowns to improve the human capital level of entrepreneurs;encourage enterprises to actively use Internet technology to promote the integration of online and offline development of returning entrepreneurial enterprises.
