Impact Of Producer Services Agglomeration On Urbanization

Over the past 40 years,China’s economic aggregate has been continuously improved and the economic development speed has also maintained a medium and high level.At the same time,with the continuous upgrading and transformation of the industrial structure,the proportion of producer services in the economy is constantly expanding.According to the track of China’s development over the years,the process of economic development is also a process of continuously improving the level of urbanization.In the past,due to excessive pursuit of quantity,the traditional and extensive urbanization development mode was adopted,which caused many problems of "urban diseases".Therefore,the country made timely adjustments to the development mode of urbanization,and the industrial development gradually shifted from labor-intensive to technology-intensive.It can be seen that it is of great significance to study the relationship between producer services agglomeration and urbanization.This study used location entropy method to measure the agglomeration degree of producer services in 108 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.It was found that the agglomeration degree of producer services in the Yangtze River Economic Belt showed an upward trend from 2008 to 2017,and the cities with higher agglomeration degree were the eastern developed cities or the provincial capitals in the central and western regions.Then,by measuring the Yangtze river economic belt in 108 cities from 2008 to 2017,the development of urbanization,urbanization rate found in the Yangtze river economic belt whole showing a rising trend,the Yangtze river downstream population urbanization rate more than 65%,but in the Yangtze river and the Yangtze river region and the Yangtze river downstream region urbanization rate of narrowing the gap;Finally,through the econometric examination of the impact of producer services agglomeration on urbanization,we can find that :(1)from the perspective of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,producer services agglomeration can significantly improve the level of urbanization;(2)From a regional perspective,the agglomeration of producer services has a promoting effect on the urbanization development in the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River,while it has a inhibiting effect on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.(3)From the perspective of different industries,the agglomeration of financial industry can hinder the development of urbanization,while the information transmission industry,leasing industry and commercial service industry can play a positive role in promoting the development of urbanization.Finally,combining the research conclusion and the actual situation of urbanization development in China,this paper puts forward several countermeasures and suggestions to promote the healthy development of urbanization.
