Study On Optimization Of Supplier Selection For Water Treatment Chemicals In BH Company

Good supplier management is the focus of enterprise procurement and the necessary condition to ensure enterprise production and operation.Supplier selection is the core content of supplier management,which is directly related to the quality and results of enterprise procurement.BH Company is a tap water production enterprise,and water treatment chemicals are essential and important production materials,continuous and high-quality water treatment agent supply is very important to the normal operation of BH Company.However,BH Company still has problems and deficiencies in the selection of Water Treatment Reagent Suppliers,including unreasonable supplier selection process,lack of objectivity in supplier evaluation index system and unscientific supplier selection method.These problems lead to the lack of effectiveness in the selection of Water Treatment Reagent Suppliers of BH Company,the uneven quality of the supplier team,the frequent return of products and the inadequate after-sales service of suppliers,which seriously affect the normal production and operation of BH Company.On the basis of studying the relevant theories of supplier selection,combined with the current situation of water treatment reagent supplier selection of BH Company,this thesis carries out the research in the following aspects:Firstly,the procurement management department of BH Company is responsible for selecting and evaluating suppliers,the whole procurementprocess lacks the supervision and coordination of other relevant departments,which is very easy to cause decision-making risk.In this thesis,SIPOC model is used to optimize the supplier selection process of water treatment chemicals,clarify the participating departments,sort out the key links and important information,and build a reasonable supplier selection process.Secondly,there are too many qualitative indicators in the evaluation index system of Water Treatment Reagent Suppliers,which greatly reduces the objectivity of the evaluation process.In this thesis,Delphi method is used to establish a more reasonableevaluation index system of water treatment reagent supplier selection by making full use of the expert knowledge and experience.Thirdly,the selection method of Water Treatment Reagent Suppliers is unscientific and lax,the weight distribution of supplier evaluation indicators is unreasonable,too much attention is paid to the purchase price and the influence degree of other evaluation factors is ignored.In this thesis,AHP is used to allocate the weight of supplier evaluation index,and the TOPSIS is used to calculate the ranking of each supplier.Finally,through the research of this thesis the selection of Water Treatment Reagent Suppliers of BH Company is optimized and improved,the effectiveness of water treatment reagent supplier evaluation process is improved,the problems such as product return and supplier service are reduced,and the supplier management level of BH Company is effectively improved.
