As a traditional industry in the national economy,apparel brand companies are facing increasing pressure under the fierce competition from international and domestic brands,especially the increased demand of consumers’ personalized market and the more rational consumption under the influence of COVID-19.The vast majority of apparel brand companies’ bulk are outsource produced,so the reasonable evaluation and management of suppliers have a significant impact on apparel brand companies,which directly affect their effectiveness and competitiveness in many aspects,such as product price,quality and delivery time.Scientific and reasonable evaluation of suppliers can reduce cost,improve the management level of suppliers and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprise.This paper takes T Garment Company as an example to study supplier evaluation.Firstly,it discusses the research background and significance,as well as the research methods and contents of this paper,elaborates on the research on supplier evaluation standards and methods both at home and abroad,introduces relevant concepts and theories,as well as the basic principles and implementation steps of analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.Secondly,it introduces the enterprise overview,supplier composition and procurement model of T Garment Company,as well as the current supplier evaluation method.Based on the analysis of the current status of supplier evaluation of T Garment Company,four main problems in supplier evaluation are summarized: simple supplier classification,unreasonable evaluation team composition and overly subjective evaluation,lack of scientific supplier evaluation index system,unreasonable evaluation cycle and lack of incentive policies.Then a supplier comprehensive evaluation index system is constructed by combining analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with legal quantification,and applied to several typical suppliers.Finally,based on the newly established supplier evaluation index system and combined with the actual situation of T Garment Company,the implementation guarantee measures of the system are proposed,which mainly from three aspects: organizational guarantee measures,institutional guarantee measures and technical guarantee measures.
