The problem of climate change has affected the future development of human society in recent years.Various countries and regions have promoted the green and low-carbon transformation around the core of carbon emission reduction.New energy power system is an important part of the green transformation.The low-voltage electrical components in each process of power distribution play an important role in its stability and consistency has very high requirements,so the process quality management of low-voltage electrical components is very important,some serious quality problems may lead to damage to electrical equipment and even threaten personal safety.This paper studies the process quality problems of S Company,a manufacturer of lowvoltage components.Identifies the main problem in the process quality problems through the Six Sigma DMAIC(Define,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control)improvement process based on the historical data.The problems are quality non-compliance costs are on the rise,the low pass rate of the first pass yield and the process inspection defect rate is high.Through the further breakdown of the quality data,the problems affecting the quality of the process are mainly from the three major elements,the product’s operation mechanism indicator blocked,the auxiliary contact state is incorrect and the product label is pasted incorrectly.The main reasons affecting the process quality are analyzed and improved by tools such as causal matrix,5Why analysis,measurement system analysis and process capability analysis.Defined quick win actions,adjust the related assembly process and control the related parts’ dimensions,improve the mechanism assembly process.Long-term measures,establish a robust component design process to optimize the design of parts and verify the improvements through statistical tools such as hypothesis testing,Improve equipment monitoring and measurement control procedures,improve production orders and production assembly systems.The relevant standard documents are updated and statistical process control of key processes is carried out to consolidate the improvement results after completing the above improvement measures.After the improvement of process quality the production cost of product will reduce and the production efficiency will be improved.Ultimately this improvement will contribute to realize the strategic goal of doubling the company’s business.
