| Digital transformation is based on the popularity of the wave of digital economy,using artificial intelligence,big data,blockchain and other new generation information technology,through the integration of data,to carry out all-round changes in economic factors such as organizations,markets,and supply chains,so as to improve efficiency,resist risks,and enhance the competitiveness of products and services.In response to the increasingly fierce competition in the market,all walks of life are exploring the path of digital transformation of enterprises.At present,the digital economy is in the ascendant,and documents such as "Made in China 2025","14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Digital Economy","Guiding Opinions on the Development of Digital Economy" issued by the State Council,and "Notice on Accelerating the Digital Transformation of State-owned Enterprises" issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission have further positioned the digital economy as a key development area and continuously promoted the development of China’s digital economy.However,in the face of complex and changeable market environment,a large number of transformation results are not good,in the process of digital construction,the relationship between digital transformation and enterprise performance may be affected by many factors,this paper explores the relationship between enterprise digital transformation and enterprise performance from a micro perspective to a certain extent has innovative significance and value.This paper classifies and sorts out the relevant literature on digital transformation and enterprise performance at home and abroad,and then deeply explores the impact mechanism of digital transformation on enterprise performance,using the panel data of A-share listed non-financial enterprises from 2010 to2021 as a sample,taking the degree of digital transformation as an explanatory variable,enterprise performance as an explanatory variable,and introducing the intermediary variable of supply chain integration,and corporate social responsibility as a regulating variable.Using the systematic GMM model and the mediation effect model,the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance is analyzed in depth,and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on the research conclusions and the current situation.The study finds that:(1)digital transformation has a significant role in promoting enterprise performance;(2)Digital transformation improves the degree of enterprise supply chain integration,and supply chain integration plays a part of the mediating effect in the improvement of enterprise performance by digital transformation;(3)Corporate social responsibility plays a significant role in promoting digital transformation in the process of improving enterprise performance,that is,it positively regulates the improvement of enterprise performance by digital transformation.In further research,this paper considers the impact of heterogeneity:(1)grouping the scale of enterprises,and the promotion of enterprise performance by digital transformation is more significant in large enterprises than in small and medium-sized enterprises;(2)grouping the nature of enterprise ownership,and the impact of digital transformation on the former is more significant than that of state-owned enterprises and non-state-owned enterprises;(3)Grouping enterprise regions,the digital transformation of enterprises in the eastern region has a significant positive impact on enterprise performance,while the impact in the central and western regions is not significant;(4)In the robustness test,this paper re-tests by replacing the explanatory variables and the explanatory variables respectively,and finds that the conclusion that the digital transformation of enterprises significantly improves enterprise performance is still valid.Based on the above conclusions,in order to enhance enterprises’ awareness of digital transformation,further consolidate the achievements of digital transformation,and accelerate the pace of digital transformation of enterprises in a steady manner,this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)The government should give corresponding policies to support enterprises to carry out digital transformation,encourage digital innovation of enterprises,keep pace with the times,promote the smooth and balanced development of digital transformation of enterprises as much as possible,and improve the overall performance ability;(2)The government should pay attention to the creation of the external environment for the digital transformation of enterprises,strengthen infrastructure construction,and at the same time,pay attention to the financing issues related to enterprises and increase talent training;(3)Enterprises should face up to digital transformation,enhance confidence in transformation,seize opportunities,actively respond to government policies for the development of the digital economy,clarify transformation goals,establish overall awareness,and coordinate digital and other resources;(4)Strengthen the integration of supply chains between enterprises,promote digital transformation and help enterprise performance;(5)Enterprises should actively fulfill their social responsibilities,clarify the synergistic effects of social responsibilities,and incorporate active social responsibility into their corporate values to obtain more sustainable competitive advantages.The main contributions of this paper are: first,in promoting the digital transformation of enterprises,the impact of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise performance provides further theoretical support;Second,from the perspective of supply chain integration,this paper studies its mediating role in the relationship between digital transformation and enterprise performance,and enriches the research on the impact of digital transformation on enterprise performance.Third,the introduction of corporate social responsibility and its moderating role make this study more convincing.Fourth,relevant countermeasures are proposed from the perspectives of the government and enterprises,which have certain reference significance for promoting better digital transformation of enterprises and improving enterprise performance. |
