Research On The Influence Of Farmland Circulation On The Income Gap Among Farmers

During recent years,with the development of Household-responsibility system,the economy of rural areas has been developed incessantly and the farmers’ income has been increased significantly.As the continuous development of urbanization,however,there is a homophone that rural residents move into cities.As a consequence,the following situations occur frequently: the farmers abandon the lands that they are responsible for.On top of that,due to the lack of appropriate care,a large amount of land has been wasted.As a result,a series of measures have been taken to reform in rural land systems.Owning to the implementation of the land system,the agricultural land utilization has been improved.And the system has re-allocated the land and labor resources,enlarging the scale of labor.Therefore,the income of farmers’ families has continued to grow,with farmers obtaining more economic income,which has promoted the sustainable development of the rural economy.In order to explore the relationship between farmers ’income and the agricultural land circulation,and discuss the impact of farmland circulation on the gap between farmers’ income.Hence,the questionnaire "Research on the Land Circulation and the income of Farming Family" has been conducted,aiming at farmers in Leiyang City,Hunan Province.879 questionnaires have been handed out and 564 valid questionnaires have been collected.On the basis of analyzing the statistics on the questionnaire,an empirical data of this article have been formed..In the empirical inspection,the first thing to do is to check the validity of the questionnaire.And then,this paper has exploited the propensity score matching method combined with Logit regressive analysis,with the aim of figuring put the main factor that affects the circulation of agricultural land,analyzing the heterogeneity of the internal income of farmers in Leiyang City and eliminating the selectivity of the samples.Through quantile regression and Gini coefficient calculation,the study analyzed to what extent the land circulation has impacted on farming household income.It was found that the agricultural land circulation was affected by various factors.In the process of farmland circulation,both transferring land and transferring out of the land will affect farmers’ income at different levels.And the degree of influence is different.Land circulation has significantly improved the income level of farmers,but for farmers with different income levels,the impact of land circulation on their income is significantly different.Land circulation has a significant role in increasing the income in low-income farmers’ income.And for farmers with high-income or medium-income,here are limited promoting roles compared by low-income farmers.Hence,the circulation of agricultural land has effectively reduced the income gap between low-income farmers and high-income farmers.Based on this,this article puts forward the following suggestions concerning policy:Firstly,consolidate the market-oriented and standardized land rental market.Secondly,promote the participation of farmers in agricultural land circulation systems,and investigate the willingness of farmers with low,medium and high income levels.Thirdly,improve farmers’ ability in participating in agricultural land circulation,enhance their profitability,increasing farmers’ income during the process.
