Theoretical And Empirical Analysis Of The Impact On Rural Industrial Integration On Rural Residents’ Income In Shandong Province

The key to rural revitalization is industrial revitalization.Since the reform and opening up,China has attached importance to agricultural development and implemented a number of incentive policies in the agricultural field,including the household contract responsibility system,the transfer of land management rights,and the reduction and exemption of agricultural taxes.These policies have greatly increased the enthusiasm of farmers in production,and also promoted the transition of China’s agriculture from the stage of joint agricultural and industrial operation to the stage of agricultural industrialization.However,China’s agriculture is still facing the situation of high production costs,high occupancy of labor resources,backward agricultural production technology,and low added value of agricultural products.In order to overcome the drawbacks of agricultural development,it is necessary to continue to extend vertically and horizontally based on the stage of agricultural industrialization,so as to promote the integrated development of rural industries based on agriculture.At the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,a report was issued that highlighted the importance of vigorously encouraging rural revival and hastening the development of an agricultural might.Promoting the revitalization of rural industries,talents,culture,ecology,and organizations necessitates the development of distinctive industries in the area,as well as broadening the avenues for farmers to increase their income and become affluent.In Shandong Province,renowned for its agricultural prowess and natural assets,issues such as the scarcity of value added to agricultural goods,the sluggish increase in farmers’ incomes,and the unequal distribution of agricultural resources are all associated with the development of agriculture.It is even more necessary to develop industrial integration with Shandong characteristics based on Shandong’s actual situation.Therefore,this article focuses on the development of rural industrial integration in Shandong Province.This article takes the relationship between rural industrial integration and farmers’ income as the main research object.This article examines the effect of rural industrial integration on the income growth of farmers from four perspectives: industrial chain extension,agricultural technology advancement,industrial structure enhancement,in theory.Agricultural versatility.On an empirical basis,by building an indicator system for the level of rural industrial integration in Shandong Province,using data related to industrial integration and farmers’ income in 16 cities in Shandong Province from 2011 to2021,and using a multi system coupling model to measure the degree of industrial integration in Shandong Province,it is found that the level of rural industrial integration in all cities in Shandong Province has gradually improved from 2011-2021.Through sorting out and summarizing relevant data on farmers’ income in various cities in Shandong Province,it is found that in the past 11 years,farmers’ income in Shandong Province has gradually increased,with wage income accounting for the first proportion of farmers’ income.A fixed effect model is constructed to empirically assess the effect of industrial convergence on farmers’ income in Shandong Province,and a conclusion is reached that rural industrial convergence has a noteworthy beneficial effect on farmers.In Shandong Province,income expansion has been observed.This article furnishes a theoretical basis for the augmentation of farmers’ incomes in Shandong Province through rural industrial integration,through research.Proposing policy proposals to foster industrial integration in Shandong Province,this is what is proposed.
