Study On The Behavior And Influencing Factors Of Tea Farmers Participating In Tea Cooperatives In Anxi County

Promoting the construction of modern agricultural management system is the key work of China’s agriculture,rural areas and farmers at the present stage.Farmers’ specialized cooperatives are an important part of the modern agricultural management system.Their number is increasing year by year and they have become an important force for the development of modern agriculture in China.Farmers’ specialized cooperatives lead agriculture to develop in the direction of scale,intensification,quality,brand and diversification of planting varieties.They form the effective complementarity of material,labor and capital among individual small farmers,promote the integration of capital and technology with agriculture,and promote the improvement of agricultural production efficiency.Anxi County is one of the famous tea producing areas in China.Tea farmers and tea cooperatives are the main interest groups in the tea industry in Anxi County.The active participation of tea farmers in tea cooperatives is conducive to the revitalization of tea industry in tea producing areas.On the basis of the existing studies on cooperatives and farmers,based on the theory of planned behavior,combined with economies of scale theory,transaction cost theory and rational choice theory,this study uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and empirical research to take tea farmers in Anxi County as the research object.In-depth research on the actual situation of tea industry development in Anxi County,the development status of tea cooperatives in Anxi County and their functions at the present stage,classification of the types of tea cooperatives and the forms of association between cooperatives and tea farmers at the present stage,and research and analysis of the basic situation of tea farmers in Anxi County,the way of participating in the community.Based on the theory of planned behavior,a research hypothesis model was constructed,five hypotheses were proposed,questions were designed,and seven-level Likert scale was used to quantify the research indicators,and a structural equation model was constructed.SPSS22.0 and AMOS24.0 software were used to test the reliability and validity of the three latent variables of the psychological perception and the two latent variables of the behavior and intention of tea farmers participating in tea cooperatives.The test results showed that all met the standards,and the hypothesis was further verified.The results showed that the behavioral attitudes,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control of tea farmers had positive effects on their behavioral intention to participate in tea cooperatives.The perceived behavior control of tea farmers had a positive effect on their participation in tea cooperatives.The willingness of tea farmers to participate in tea cooperatives had a positive effect on their participating behavior.Based on the investigation of the current situation,tea farmers in Anxi County are more inclined to participate in the "capable person-led cooperative" and choose the association mode of "company + cooperative + tea farmer".Finally,four specific suggestions are put forward: improve the management of tea cooperatives,improve the competitiveness of cooperatives;Strengthen membership education and training to improve the overall quality of cooperatives;Improve the function of tea cooperative to attract tea farmers to participate actively;The government actively supports development and increases policy preference for cooperatives.
