Research On The Disposal Of Non Performing Assets Of Bank A

After the outbreak of the COVID-19,the world economy was severely hit.China’s manufacturing industry and other traditional industries had a difficult transition.As a barometer of the economy,the financial industry faced severe challenges.With the full implementation of Basel III,the requirements for bank core capital and common equity are greatly enhanced.The four new regulatory tools of capital adequacy ratio,provision ratio,leverage ratio,and liquidity have put higher requirements on bank operations.The increase in non-performing assets of banks seriously hinders their own development,causing fluctuations in the financial industry,affecting the rational and effective allocation of social resources,and also affecting the construction and improvement of the social credit system.In this context,the disposal of non-performing assets in commercial banks has received widespread attention.The main purpose of the paper is to study and explore the disposal of non-performing assets in commercial banks,mainly using case analysis method.By studying the current situation of non-performing asset disposal in Bank A,identifying existing problems and proposing improvement suggestions,it is hoped that it can also provide experience and reference for other commercial banks in the country to manage non-performing assets.Firstly,this article summarizes the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the disposal of non-performing assets in commercial banks through literature review.In Chapter 2,the concept and harm of non-performing assets are introduced,as well as the current situation of non-performing assets in Chinese commercial banks and relevant theories on the disposal of non-performing assets,laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.Chapter 3 takes Bank A as an example to introduce the current situation of non-performing assets of Bank A.Chapter 4 analyzes the problems that exist in the process of disposing of non-performing assets of Bank A.Finally,in Chapter 5,corresponding improvement suggestions were proposed to address the issues analyzed earlier.
