The computer peripheral equipment manufacturing industry has the characteristics of fine division of labor,scattered raw material sources,high degree of refinement,and long product line.In recent years,with the increasingly fierce competition in the manufacturing industry and the fluctuation of external market demand,the inventory quantity of WH company has increased year by year in the process of inventory management,which has occupied a large amount of operating funds and reduced the market competitiveness of the company.This paper takes WH company inventory management as the research object,through in-depth study and research on inventory management,ERP system and supply chain management theory,combined with the actual operation status and system data of the company,mainly from inventory control,ERP system and on-site management.Three aspects are analyzed in depth and pointed out that WH company has serious shortage of raw materials in inventory management,long inventory turnover time,sluggishness and insufficient on-site management and the causes of the problems.In the direction of material classification management,ERP system and supply chain management,the improvement scheme of inventory management is put forward.ABC classification method is used to improve the classification management of raw materials.Improve lead time through ERP system;optimize the supply chain and improve inventory management.In order to ensure the effective implementation of the corresponding measures,the author puts forward the safeguard measures from the aspects of system,organization,technology and manpower.Through the implementation of a series of this plan,the raw material inventory management of WH company can be improved in an all-round way,the inventory management level and efficiency of WH company are improved,and the overall competitiveness of the company is improved.This study has a great guiding role in improving the raw material inventory management of WH company.At the same time,it also has certain reference significance for the improvement of inventory management of computer peripheral manufacturing enterprises.
