| Rural industrial integration is an important path to promote agricultural and rural modernization and realize rural revitalization. With the deepening of agricultural supply-side structural reform, the rural industrial chain continues to extend, agricultural functions expand in an orderly manner, and the integration of rural industries is booming. However, the integrated development of China’s rural industries still faces problems such as weak infrastructure and low degree of integration,as well as constraints on land, capital, technology, labor and other factors. Therefore, effectively measuring the current level of integrated development of rural industries in China and exploring its influencing factors,so as to make up for the shortcomings and give play to the advantages,is of great significance to improving agricultural quality and efficiency, and increasing farmers’ employment and income.Based on the interpretation of the connotation of rural industrial integration development, the relevant theories, the analysis of development foundation and development results, this thesis analyzes the motivation of rural industrial integration development.Secondly, drawing on the evaluation method of "path-effect",the evaluation index system of rural industrial integration development level is constructed from seven dimensions: agricultural industry chain extension, agricultural multi-functional expansion, agricultural service industry integration, advanced factor penetration, farmers’ income increase, agricultural efficiency enhancement and urban-rural integration. On this basis, the entropy weight TOPSIS method was used to measure the level of rural industrial integration development in 30 provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)in China(excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan and Tibet)from 2011 to 2020.On this basis, the Dagum Gini coefficient is used to explore the regional differences and sources of rural industrial integration development level, and the dynamic evolution characteristics of their distribution are analyzed by kernel density estimation. Finally, the dynamic system GMM model is used to regression to estimate six main factors: rural infrastructure, agricultural technological progress, household consumption demand, rural land circulation, rural human capital and rural financial deepening.Based on the above empirical analysis, the following research conclusions are drawn: First,in terms of measuring the level of rural industrial integration development, the overall level of rural industrial integration development in China from 2011 to 2020 is low,but with the slow upward trend of inter-annual changes, there are large differences between regions, and the overall gradient distribution pattern of "high east and low west" is generally presented.Second,in terms of the degree of regional differences and the evolution characteristics of dynamic distribution, the overall regional differences showed a slow narrowing trend, and the interregional differences were the main sources of the overall differences.Except for the central and northeastern regions, the regional differences in other regions are narrowing, and the eastern region has the highest degree of imbalance. The development gap between the central and northeastern regions is relatively stable, while the eastern and western regions are slowly narrowing. There are certain degrees of gradient effect and polarization in the eastern, central and western regions.Third,in terms of the influencing factors of rural industrial integration development, from the national level, rural infrastructure, residents’ consumption demand, rural land circulation and rural human capital have a significant positive impact on the level of rural industrial integration development, while agricultural technological progress has a significant negative impact, while the impact of rural financial deepening is not significant. From the regional level, the deepening of rural infrastructure and rural finance in the central and western regions can promote the integrated development of rural industries in the regions, while the positive and negative effects in the eastern and northeastern regions are not obvious.Except for the northeast region, the progress of agricultural technology in the eastern, central and western regions showed a significant negative impact, while the rural land circulation was not significant.Rural human capital failed the significance test in the four major regions, and household consumption demand only showed a significant positive impact in the eastern and northeastern regions.Based on the above research conclusions, the following countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: regional cooperation to narrow the development gap;Improve facilities and enhance basic support;institutional reform to promote land circulation;Technology adaptation to promote value enhancement;Optimize the mechanism and strengthen talent support;Government and enterprise coordination to expand financial support. |
