Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy On The Integration Of Rural Three Industries

At present,the digital economy has developed rapidly in China,and its role in economic society is becoming increasingly important.The No.1 central document of the Central Committee of the CPC in 2022 particularly emphasizes the construction of digital countryside,the development of digital agriculture and the training of farmers’ digital literacy,which reflects the attention of the national level to the effective connection between the digital economy and the issues of agriculture,rural areas and farmers.Agriculture and rural farmers are the foundation of a strong country and a foundation for its establishment.Promoting the integration of rural three industries in the context of rural revitalization requires promoting the deep integration of the digital economy and rural industries to improve the maladjustment of rural market capacity structure,insufficient effective supply,and low resource utilization.Under the current new development pattern,China’s economy has transformed from high-speed development in the past to high-quality development.Therefore,it is even more important to grasp the opportunities of high-speed development of the digital economy and continuously promote the integration of rural three industries to move forward in depth.An in-depth study of the impact of the digital economy on the integration of rural three industries will help China’s digital economy development empower the integration of rural three industries.This paper theoretically analyzes and empirically tests the impact and mechanism of digital economy on rural integration of three industries.Firstly,it defines the concept of digital economy and rural integration of three industries,and sorts out the relevant theoretical basis.Secondly,it proposes the theoretical mechanisms and hypotheses of the direct effects,intermediary effects,regulatory effects,and threshold effects of the digital economy on the integration of rural three industries.And then,construct an indicator system for the integration of digital economy and rural industries,and use the entropy method to calculate the development index for the integration of digital economy and rural industries in provincial administrative regions from 2011 to 2020.Analyze the spatiotemporal differences between the digital economy and rural industries in China.Next,a fixed effect model was used to analyze the direct effect of the digital economy on the integration of rural three industries,and regional heterogeneity was analyzed.The robustness of the model was tested by replacing the core explanatory variables.An interaction term was constructed using the number of Internet users nationwide and the number of telephones per 10000 people in each province in 1984 as a tool variable for endogenous testing;Using the intermediary effect model and the regulatory effect model to test the mechanism of the digital economy on the integration of rural three industries;Using a panel threshold model,this paper empirically studies the non-linear relationship between the impact of digital economy on the integration of rural three industries.Finally,based on the empirical research conclusions and the current situation of China’s digital economy development,this article proposes policy recommendations to promote the integration of rural three industries.The study found that the digital economy can significantly promote the development of rural integration of three industries,but the promotion effects on rural integration of three industries are different in the eastern,central,and western regions.Using the number of national Internet users and the number of telephones per 10000 people in each province in 1984 to construct an interaction term can effectively alleviate the endogenous problems in the model.The digital economy can promote the integration of rural two industries through three paths: labor factors,fundamentals of rural logistics.Rural non Internet infrastructure can significantly and positively affect the effect of the digital economy on the integration of rural three industries;The process of promoting rural integration of three industries by digital economy is non-linear.Only when the development of digital economy reaches a higher level,the promotion effect of digital economy on rural integration of three industries is positive and significant.
