| Farmers’ cooperatives are voluntary,democratic,mutual economic organizations established by farmers to protect their common interests.They are a key force in promoting rural common prosperity and the organic connection between small farmers and modern agriculture.In 2020,Xi Jinping emphasized during his inspection of cooperative development in Jilin that farmers’ professional cooperatives are an effective organizational form for the development of modern agriculture,which is conducive to improving the comprehensive economic efficiency of agriculture.The20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China further proposed to firmly consolidate and improve the basic rural operating system,actively cultivate new agricultural operating entities and social services,and promote the development of moderately scaled agricultural operations.Therefore,driven by practical needs and policy promotion,various regions have actively explored the development path of cooperatives to assist in the revitalization of rural industries.As a typical mountainous agricultural development area,Guizhou Province has rapidly expanded the scale of farmers’ professional cooperatives with strong national policy support,making important contributions to poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in Guizhou rural areas.This article takes the farmers’ professional cooperatives in Guizhou Province(referred to as cooperatives in this article)as an example to explore the impact of stable and unstable cooperatives on the income of farmers(members).This article uses the variance-weighted method to measure the stability of 97farmers’ professional cooperatives in Guizhou Province in 2021.At the same time,using multiple regression models,the factors affecting farmers’ income by stable and unstable cooperatives are explored respectively.The research results show that: first,stable farmers’ professional cooperatives have strong governance capabilities;second,unstable farmers’ professional cooperatives have weak governance capabilities;third,stable cooperatives significantly positively impact farmers’ income;fourth,unstable farmers’ professional cooperatives do not significantly negatively impact farmers’ income;fifth,The duration of cooperative establishment has a positive impact on farmers’ income.Based on the above research conclusions,this article proposes the following policy suggestions:(1)Encourage stable farmers’ professional cooperatives to exert their advantages in governance capabilities;(2)Strengthen the governance capabilities of unstable farmers’ professional cooperatives;(3)Encouraging farmers to join stable cooperative societies;(4)Improve the pertinence and effectiveness of policies;(5)Improve the quality and management level of farmer members. |
