From The Perspective Of Agricultural Modernization Study On The Development Dilemma And Strategy Of Smart Agriculture In Wuxi

With the further development of artificial intelligence,information communication,data-driven technologies,and new concepts such as society 5.0 and super-intelligent society,the society has begun to step into a new era of "smart" and "digital",and traditional agriculture has also begun to transform and upgrade to smart agriculture.The development of smart agriculture in our country is also in full swing.The agricultural production mode is changing from traditional production methods such as small households and small workshops in the past to large-scale,intensive and intelligent production,and agricultural production efficiency has been greatly improved.Although the current development of smart agriculture in China has a certain scale,government departments and agriculture-related institutions have also formulated some policies and plans for the development of smart agriculture.Compared with foreign countries,it is still in a preliminary stage of exploration.In the process of development,there are a series of problems,such as the low degree of industrialization,the weak degree of information development and the slow process of marketization.The author selected Wuxi smart agriculture as the research object of this paper.Based on the "government intervention theory",the author carried out field research on Wuxi smart agriculture by using research methods such as literature research,in-depth interview and field observation,and had an in-depth understanding of the development basis,basic status quo and characteristics of Wuxi smart agriculture.Through the investigation,it was found that,Although Wuxi smart agriculture has made some achievements with government intervention,it still faces difficulties such as insufficient government support,unfavorable promotion of agricultural technology,weak participation willingness of farmers,and insufficient participation of industrial market.By analyzing the dilemma of smart agriculture in Wuxi City,this paper finds that the fundamental reasons for the development of smart agriculture in Wuxi City are the high risk of smart agriculture investment,the low integration of related industries,the digital divide between farmers and the high cost of agricultural technology.Based on the analysis of the reasons,this paper,aiming at the characteristics of the problems of each subject,puts forward some policy suggestions,such as clarifying the boundary of government functions,improving the government’s guiding abi lity,giving full play to the linkage effect of the market,encouraging the participation of multiple subjects,crossing the digital divide of subjects,improving the agricultural cohesion mechanism,accelerating the speed of technology promotion,and establishing the technical support system.In the end,the paper summarizes the content of this study and puts forward the prospect,hoping that the author’s research will be helpful to the exploration of the development path of Wuxi smart agriculture.
