Abstract/Summary:
In today’s increasingly serious ecological pollution problem, environmentally friendly products are becoming increasingly popular in the mass market, and green consumption is becoming popular among consumers as an emerging consumption model. In this context,it is difficult for companies to gain sustainable development in the market with their previous advantages in terms of cost and quality, and the development of green products and services has become the core competence sought by many companies. In the current competitive situation,if companies want to stay on top of the competition, they must do a good job in green innovation and research, pay attention to consumer needs and preferences in the external market, and innovate and develop environmentally friendly products and services in the internal management to continuously improve the added value of products and services. In addition,we should also pay attention to the effective pooling and integration of internal and external resources in the supply chain, prevent opportunistic behaviour of consumers through various means,so as to avoid negative impacts on the company’s performance, and do a good job of pooling and integrating resources from all parties in the green supply chain,so as to accurately grasp development opportunities and thus strive for long-term sustainable development performance for the company.Based on the existing literature, this study focuses on the integration of green supply chains from three dimensions: suppliers, customers and internal, and examines its possible impact on the company’s sustainable performance(both environmental and social dimensions),as well as the mediating role of opportunistic behaviour and the moderating role of information sharing.Based on the theories of transaction costs and resource base,a conceptual model is designed and certain hypotheses are formulated based on the correlation between the variables of green supply chain integration, sustainable corporate performance and opportunistic behaviour. The hypotheses were tested by means of multivariate hierarchical regression to provide a reference for the actual operation of the company. The results of the empirical analysis show that:(1)all three dimensions of green supply chain integration have a significant positive impact on opportunistic behaviour;(2)opportunistic behaviour has a significant negative impact on both dimensions of corporate sustainable performance and moderates the relationship between green supply chain integration and opportunistic behaviour to a certain extent. This study will help companies to better understand the links between green supply chain integration, sustainable corporate performance, opportunistic behaviour and information sharing:(1)To investigate and empirically test the impact of green supply chain integration practices(including the triple dimensions of suppliers, customers and internal)on the level of sustainable corporate performance, with a view to adding to the existing academic findings in this area.(2)analyse the mediating role of opportunistic behaviour and reveal the competitive mediating role of opportunistic behaviour;(3)clarify the moderating role of information sharing in green supply chain integration on opportunistic behaviour and reveal the boundary conditions between the two.
