The reform of China’s market economy has accelerated the restructuring and upgrading of the petrochemical industry.In this case,superiority stem from the treasure of talent management and stable talent team.However,the brain drain of QY Petrochemical Company is becoming more and more serious,which has a negative impact on production efficiency,operating costs and employee cohesion.Therefore,QY managers attach great importance to the problem of personnel turnover and are actively seeking countermeasures to prevent staff turnover.In this paper,the problem of staff turnover of QY Petrochemical Company was studied by literature research and questionnaire survey.First,the background and current situation of attrition research are clarified,including the concepts of attrition and turnover tendencies and the relevant theories of attrition research.Second,the current situation and human resource status of QY Petrochemical Company were described and the adverse impact of talent drain on QY Petrochemical Company was summarized.Then,using the Price-Mueller model,a questionnaire was designed for the employee propensity to leave.The questionnaire results were analyzed.Low salaries and benefits,relatively poor working environment,poor promotion channels,imperfect training mechanisms and sufficient external employment opportunities were considered to be the reasons for the attrition.Finally,measures and guarantees should be carried out to prevent the loss of talents are proposed,including optimizing the salary and welfare system,improving the working environment of enterprises,strengthening employee career planning,optimizing employee training systems,and enhancing the attractiveness of enterprises.The effective implementation of the countermeasures is guaranteed from the three aspects of organization,capital and system.This research will help QY Petrochemical Company alleviate the talent drain and facilitate the transformation and upgrading of the company.This research can also be used as a reference for other petrochemical companies.
