With the popularity of "Internet Plus",the new Internet technology changes the business model of all walks of life with the logic of big data algorithm and consumer traffic,and the retail industry is no exception.As a large retail chain company,W Company has gradually evolved into a new retail business model.In order to meet the demand for talents in the strategic adjustment of the enterprise,the long-executed management trainee project of W Company was restarted and emphasized again.The management trainee program of W Company is the follow-up reserve of the company’s middle and senior leadership team,aiming at cultivating management talents for the position of deputy general manager of stores.However,the abnormal high turnover of management trainees in W Company has seriously affected the development of the enterprise.In order to solve and reduce the turnover of management trainees in W Company,this paper applies the Price-Mueller(2000)model to analyze the reasons for the high turnover of management trainees in W Company through literature research,interview survey,questionnaire survey and other methods: Insufficient organizational socialization measures;The measures to compensate for the high working pressure in retail industry are inadequate;Communication between MT and grassroots staff is not smooth;Leadership levels vary;Unwilling to accept job location changes when promoted;In view of the reasons for the loss of management trainees in W Company,this paper puts forward a targeted solution.First,extend the project cycle to Strengthen organizational socialization;Secondly,optimize the compensation for high-pressure work;Thirdly,improve the working relationship and adjust the communication style;Fourthly,strengthen management training to enhance leadership;Finally,additional dormitories will be set up to guarantee the employment of different workers and strengthen the career development plan.After long-term implementation of a series of optimization policies,the management trainee project will gradually reduce the problem of enterprise management trainee loss and effectively improve the effect.
