In recent years,China’s service industry has developed rapidly and has become one of the important engines of economic growth.The growth of the service industry is not only reflected in employment and consumption,but also injects new vitality into economic development.However,with the continuous progress of the economy,some traditional phenomena will also change.At present,while the hotel industry is developing rapidly,it is also facing the problem of high employee turnover.The turnover of employees will not only lead to increased recruitment and training costs,but also seriously affect the overall operation and development direction of the hotel,especially the departure of core employees.At the same time,it may take away the hotel’s business secrets and increase the risk of hotel operations.Therefore,hotels need to attach great importance to the problem of employee turnover and take effective measures to solve it.For hotels,tangible competitive advantages are easy to be imitated by peers,so this advantage should be transformed into intangible competitive advantages,such as providing higher-quality services and experiences,which are difficult to be replicated and allow hotels to compete in the fierce competition.Gain an advantage in market competition and improve hotel operation efficiency and popularity.Taking Shandong Hetai Resort Hotel as an example,this paper uses the questionnaire survey method and literature analysis method,draws on the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on such issues,and combines the theoretical models and theoretical foundations of experts and scholars to analyse the key influencing factors of employee turnover based on the Price-Mueller model.Through the above research,this paper found that there are mainly five problems in the turnover of staff: the salary system is not scientific,the promotion channel is not smooth,the lack of clear career planning,work intensity and pressure,the staff training system is not perfect.On this basis,this paper puts forward solutions,including optimizing the employee salary system and assessment mechanism,perfecting the career promotion channel,perfecting the employee career planning mechanism,alleviating the working pressure of employees and improving the staff training system of Hetai Hotel.These measures aim to help the hotel effectively curb the problem of grassroots staff turnover,promote the healthy and orderly,development of the hotel,and provide more reference and help for the human resources work of the same industry. |
