Research On The Path To Enhance The Independent Innovation Capability Of Enterprises From The Perspective Of Open Innovation

With the deepening of globalization and the development of technological innovation,open innovation has become an unstoppable trend.In the process of independent innovation,enterprises can utilize external channels to acquire knowledge and technology,integrate them with their internal advantages,and achieve effective resource allocation and improvement of technological innovation capabilities,thereby obtaining sustainable competitive advantages.The academic community generally believes that open innovation can enhance the independent innovation ability of enterprises.However,current research mainly focuses on the relationship between open innovation,independent innovation capability,and enterprise performance,lacking exploration of the evolutionary path for enhancing independent innovation capability.Therefore,based on the scenario of open innovation,it is very meaningful to study the path to enhance the independent innovation ability of enterprises.Firstly,based on relevant theories and constructing a theoretical relationship framework,summarize and sort out relevant research on open innovation and independent innovation capabilities of enterprises both domestically and internationally.Secondly,the exploratory single case study method and the Grounded theory paradigm are adopted to study,and Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Liugong)is selected as the research object.Using Nvivo12 plus qualitative research software,the collected second-hand data was programmatically rooted and analyzed through three levels of coding data,namely open coding,spindle coding,and selective coding.Three core categories were obtained: inward mining innovation ability,outward utilization innovation ability,and bidirectional open innovation ability.Once again,construct a model for enhancing the independent innovation capability of enterprises under open innovation,and analyze various innovation capabilities based on the specific characteristics and coding results of the case.Finally,based on the connotation and characteristics of enterprises’ independent innovation ability under open innovation,and from the perspective of changes in three levels: "I am the main player","for my own use",and "prospering because of me",this paper proposes a path to enhance enterprises’ independent innovation ability under open innovation,providing a certain theoretical reference for the improvement of enterprises’ independent innovation ability.The research conclusion shows that enterprises can rely on their unique competitive advantages in internal inventions,strategic thinking,independent research and development,and form a core competency system through the exploration of internal capabilities.In the process of innovation,due to the increasing competition in the market,the pressure on enterprises to innovate also increases.It is becoming increasingly difficult for enterprises to innovate solely on their own.Therefore,in order for enterprises to enhance their innovation capabilities,they must rely on other external entities for innovation,which interact and influence each other to achieve effective access to external beneficial resources.Finally,the cooperation and communication between enterprises and the outside world will reach a higher level.By integrating external innovation resources to better integrate them into the organization,strategic knowledge transmission and cooperation can be achieved,ultimately achieving the overall improvement of the enterprise’s independent innovation ability.
