| Under the background of globalization and informatization, enterprises using confined internal resources to take innovation activities of high cost have been unable to fit market demand of fast development and increased competition. Open innovation not only attaches great importance to the enterprise internal innovation, but also focuses on cooperating with external sources of innovation through joint research and development, technology transfer, patent, commissioned research, technology mergers and acquis itions, risk investment and so on. Enterprises which take open innovation can get innovation resources, reduce costs and risk of innovation, speed up innovation success rate and then improve the innovation capability.In recent years, enterprises pay more attention to innovation, but major focus on how to improve the innovation performance, do less care about how to improve enterprise innovation ability. Although the innovation performance is the direct aim of enterprise development, enterprises innovation ability makes enterprises obtain lasting core competitiveness and is the inner motive power in winning fierce competition. This article tries to study how external innovation sources affect the enterprises innovation ability. The research tries to find out the key factors in improving enterprise innovation ability.This article discusses the influence mechanism of the external innovation sources to enterprise innovation ability in open innovation environment. This study analyzes the 10 external sources of innovation in details, including the lead users, customers, suppliers, distributors, competitors, universities and research institutions, government, technology intermediary, risk investment agencies and industry association. It also analyzes the mechanism how external resources of innovation affect the enterprise innovation capability in the process of cooperation with enterprises. Innovation ability can be divided into enterprise decision- making ability, organization and management ability, research and development ability, production ability, marketing ability and learning ability.This research takes the information service industry as the object in Beijing, collecting data to do empirical research through the questionnaire survey. It uses SPSS20.0 to analysis the sample data and to inspect the reliability and validity. Then it uses AMOS21.0 to construct structural equation model to verify the hypothesis which proposed in this paper. At the same time, according to the empirical results which put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Enterprises should strengthen the importance in the cooperation with external innovation resources. First, enterprises should cooperate with the longitudinal external source s of innovation. Lead users and suppliers can play important roles in strengthening enterprise innovation ability. Second, enterprises strengthen the cooperation with universities and research institutions. Finally enterprises should attaches great importance to the public service platform, as the coma power. Enterprise innovation must pay attention to the cultivation of innovative talents. |
