"Green development promotes agricultural power",the implementation of green production behavior in agricultural production is the key to promoting agricultural power. In recent years, agricultural resources have been tightened under the national conditions of more people and less land, and the previous extensive development mode can no longer meet the needs of agricultural development. At present, there are still obstacles to the development of green agriculture. On the one hand,in order to seek economic effects, farmers have increased the application of pesticides to reduce the quality of cultivated land.On the other hand, there are problems such as high cost, long cycle, and slow effect in green production behavior.Weakened farmers’ willingness to choose green production behavior, and green production methods are not fully accepted by farmers. In such a realistic situation, exploring how to guide farmers to choose green production behavior is of great significance to the realization of the "three-step" strategy of rural revitalization.Based on the collection of a large amount of literature, this paper focuses on the production behavior of grain and oil crop farmers in the Yellow River Basin from the perspective of household endowment and Internet use according to the theory of farmers’ behavior, information asymmetry, externalities, and sustainable development.,based on the questionnaire survey data conducted in the Yellow River Basin in August 2020,described the green production behavior of farmers in the Yellow River Basin;in addition, constructed an index system such as family endowment and Internet use,and quantified family endowment in multiple dimensions,When studying the impact of family endowment on farmers’ choice of green production behavior, the PSM model is selected for research. The accuracy of the empirical results is tested by multiple matching methods such as nearest neighbor matching, radius matching and Markov matching. The Probit model was chosen to explore the impact of Internet use on farmers’ choice of green production behavior, and the moderating effect of Internet use on household endowment and farmers’ choice of green production behavior was tested. This paper draws the following conclusions:Farmers in the Yellow River Basin in the research area have a lot of room for development in terms of green production behavior, and farmers’ choice of returning straw to the field is affected by their own family endowment level.51.93% of the farmers in the study area have returned straw to the field, and 48.07% of the farmers have not chosen to return straw to the field, which may have a certain adverse impact on the rural ecological environment. The regional research and analysis of the Yellow River Basin found that, first,it is necessary to increase the publicity and promotion of green production methods in the Yellow River Basin to promote the improvement of the quality of the ecological environment.Second, household endowment and Internet use affect farmers’ straw returning behavior.Among the influences of household endowment and farmers’ choice of green production behavior, household endowment has a positive and significant effect on farmers’ choice of green production behavior at the statistical level of 1%.Using the psm model to empirically examine the relationship between household endowment and farmers’ choice of green production behavior,it is found that even under the test of multiple matching methods,a higher level of family endowment can still increase the average treatment effect of farmers’ choice of green production behavior, and the average The treatment effect increased by 7.2% to 11%,and the sample data passed the balance test, which proved the robustness of the matching results. The impact of Internet use on farmers’ choice of green production behavior is also positive and significant at the 1% statistical level.Third,Internet use plays a regulating role in household endowment and farmers ’green production behavior.Farmers with a higher level of family endowment can enjoy digital dividends more when using the Internet. The practical problems brought about also appeared among farmers. In addition, farmers with a higher level of family endowment not only have advantages when using the Internet, but also have a higher ability to resist risks when changing to green production methods.According to the research conclusions,we should selectively formulate green production promotion content according to the family endowment of different farmers;increase the application of the Internet in rural areas, reduce the degree of rural digital divide;increase the intensity of publicity for green production behaviors, and promote green production methods in multiple directions;Through the above policy recommendations,in order to promote the choice of farmers’ green production behavior.
