Working capital management is a core component of corporate financial management and an important means for enterprises to enhance market competitiveness and achieve rapid development.With the development of the economy and the advancement of technology,new retail models are gradually emerging,and traditional retail enterprises are actively seeking transformation to adapt to market changes and development needs.Against the backdrop of increasingly fierce competition in the retail industry,many retail enterprises still do not pay enough attention to working capital management.Therefore,the study of working capital management in the retail industry has certain theoretical and practical significance.San Jiang Shopping Club,as one of the early domestic retail enterprises to lay out new retail,can comprehensively understand the situation of its working capital management and discover existing problems,provide optimization suggestions for the problems,and also provide reference for the improvement of working capital management capabilities of other retail enterprises by studying its working capital management performance from a dual perspective.Based on the theories of supply chain management,channel management,and customer relationship management,this paper uses literature research,case analysis,comparative analysis,and interdisciplinary analysis methods to study the working capital management performance of San Jiang Shopping Club in the past five years.After evaluating and deeply analyzing turnover indicators from the factor perspective and channel perspective,as well as the profitability,liquidity,and operational safety indicators of working capital channels,this paper concludes that San Jiang Shopping Club currently has problems such as unreasonable working capital structure and low capital utilization efficiency,lack of close cooperation with suppliers and unstable channel relationships,decline in working capital management capabilities due to the lack of scientific planning for working capital management strategies,and a shortage of talent for working capital data analysis and application.Based on the dual perspective and industry background,this paper proposes practical and feasible optimization suggestions for San Jiang Shopping Club’s working capital management,such as optimizing the capital structure and pursuing collaborative management,improving the supply chain and building smart retail,strengthening talent introduction and employee training,and improving operational efficiency and reducing capital risk.The aim is to enhance the development capabilities of San Jiang Shopping Club.Finally,this paper summarizes the above case study and proposes that the dual perspective of factors and channels for analyzing working capital management performance is helpful in comprehensively evaluating the working capital management capabilities of enterprises,achieving effective management and optimization of working capital,and providing references for the optimization of working capital management in the same industry and the enhancement of industry competitiveness. |
