With the complex and changeable economic situation and increasingly fierce market competition,enterprises gradually attach importance to capital operation in the process of development and growth.Its management level not only relates to capital turnover and profitability,but also affects the competitive position and development status of enterprises.Effective management of working capital can ensure the smooth development of daily business activities,improve the overall turnover efficiency of working capital,and then improve the profitability of enterprises on the premise of maintaining appropriate liquidity of funds.At present,retail enterprises are under the double impact of the vigorous development of the external Internet economy and fierce competition within the industry.Retail enterprises have to improve their strength and competitive position by optimizing the management of working capital because of their large demand for capital and fast turnover.Therefore,the case study of working capital management of small and medium-sized private retail enterprises has certain practical significance.This paper starts with the financial data analysis of Retail Company B in 2013-2017,and comprehensively understands its working capital management status and performance.Starting from the current situation of B company's working capital,and then analyzing its working capital financing and investment strategy,it evaluates the performance of Company B from the perspective of factors and channels,explores the problems existing in its management level,and analyzes the impact on the management of B's working capital management.Reasons and propose countermeasures for performance improvement.In the theoretical foundation part,the channel management theory and customer relationship theory are introduced,which is helpful for the development of in-depth research and the proposal of optimization.In the performance evaluation part,we start with the elements,analyze several major report items,and then deeply analyze the management performance of each channel of procurement,storage,transportation and marketing,and then carry out closed-loop performance evaluation analysis.Based on the above performance analysis,it is found that the working capital management of Company B has the problems of too conservative working capital management strategy,unscientific management system,slow turnover of working capital in procurement channels,single financing channel for financial activities,and the reasons that affect the performance of B company's working capital management.Conduct an in-depth analysis.In combination with the business characteristics and business conditions of the enterprise,it proposes to establish a channel management concept;adjust management strategies;implement budget management;strengthen accounts receivable management;strengthen inventory management;establish good supplier relationships;and expand financing channels to improve working capital management performance.Optimization strategy.This paper combines the concept of channel management with the theory of factor management,and applies it to the optimization strategy of B company's working capital management performance.It hopes to help improve the performance of B company's working capital management and provide some reference for similar retail enterprises.
