| How to balance work and family,and how to coordinate the contradictions and conflicts in these two fields are all the problems faced by employees,the problems concerned by organizations.As a new type of leadership,family-supportive supervisor cares about employees’ family life and puts forward constructive suggestions and suggestions for employees’ work-family conflicts.It also helps employees balance work and family to achieve better development.Under this leadership style,employees will contribute to the organization and benefit the development of the organization.Employees will regard themselves as members of the organization and have a strong sense of ownership.As a resource that can be perceived by employees,family-supportive supervisor enables employees to obtain resources that can help them coordinate work and family conflicts,thus improving their sense of boundary control and believing that they have more ability and confidence to handle affairs in the two fields well.According to the theory of resource conservation,people’s basic motivation is to acquire,retain and protect the resources they have.When the resources reach a certain level,the resources of different fields will overflow each other.Family-supportive supervisor will increase the resources that employees have to coordinate work and family to some extent,so when resources increase,work-family gain can be realized.Data statistics and analysis are conducted on 417 valid samples by using SPSS22.0,AMOS20.0 and PROCESS plug-in.(1)family-supportive supervisor has a positive influence on employee housekeeper behavior;(2)Perceived boundary control and work-family enrichment were partially mediating and there was a chain mediating effect between them;(3)When work-family centrality was low,family-supportive supervisor on boundary control and work-family enrichment on housekeeper behavior was negative;(4)Work-family centrality negatively moderates boundary control and work-family enrichment mediates the relationship between family-supporting supervisors and managerial behavior.So,enterprises should pay attention to the leadership style,care about employees’ work and family,create an atmosphere conducive to employees’ balance between work and family. |
