Family supportive supervisor behavior,as a new resource to balance employees' work and family relationship,has become a hot topic in the field of work-family research.According to the existing literature,family supportive supervisor behavior has a positive effect on employees' job performance,but its internal mechanism needs to be further explored in order to clarify its role path better.Therefore,based on the family-like exchange theory and resource-enrichment-development model,this research introduces two mediating variables,leader-member exchange and work-to-family enrichment,establishes a multi-mediating model to study the impact of family supportive supervisor behavior on job performance,and verifies the parallel multi-mediating role of leader-member exchange and work-to-family enrichment.This study used the questionnaire method and collected 314 valid questionnaires from employees of enterprises in Shandong,Jiangsu province and so on.The results show that the family supportive supervisor behavior is positively related to employees' job performance,in addition,the four dimensions of family supportive supervisor behavior: emotional support,instrumental support,role modeling behavior,and creative work-family management are also positively related to employees' job performance.Leader-member exchange and work-to-family enrichment play the parallel multiple mediating role between family supportive supervisor behavior and employees' job performance,but the mediating effect of leader-member exchange is stronger than the mediating effect of work-to-family enrichment,and the overall mediating effect is stronger than the direct effect.From the theoretical point of view,on the one hand,it deepens the research on the sub-dimensions of family supportive supervisor behavior,on the other hand,it clarifies the path of family supportive supervisor behavior affecting job performance by establishing a multi-mediating model.From the practical point of view,it provides a reference for how to provide family supportive supervisor behavior and how to improve the job performance of employees.
