| A large number of studies have shown that competitive industries usually exhibit obvious agglomeration characteristics.Industrial agglomeration can not only promote the integrated operation of relevant factors,achieve industrial scale development,but also optimize industrial layout,allowing local industries to obtain sustained competitive advantages.At present,the development of logistics industry in various provinces and cities in Yunnan Province is not sufficient,and there is no significant competitive advantage compared to developed regions.It is urgent to rely on the scale efficiency and radiation effect of logistics industry agglomeration to enhance the competitiveness level of the regional logistics industry.Therefore,this article takes various states and cities in Yunnan Province as examples to explore the impact of logistics industry agglomeration on logistics industry competitiveness,which has important reference significance for the logistics industry agglomeration and competitiveness level improvement of various states and cities in Yunnan Province.This paper first combs the relevant literature and theories,and on this basis,from the perspective of positive and negative Externality of logistics industry specialization and diversification agglomeration at different stages of agglomeration,explores the mechanism of its impact on logistics industry competitiveness.Secondly,based on relevant data from various provinces in Yunnan Province from 2009 to 2020,analyze the current situation of logistics industry agglomeration and competitiveness in Yunnan Province.Then,a bidirectional fixed effects model is used to analyze the impact of logistics industry specialization and diversified agglomeration on the competitiveness of the logistics industry.Finally,based on the research results,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions on how to use the positive Externality effect of industrial agglomeration to enhance the industrial competitiveness of the logistics industry in various prefectures and cities of Yunnan Province.The research results indicate that:(1)There are large differences in the level of logistics industry agglomeration and competitiveness among various prefectures and cities in Yunnan Province.Kunming has the highest level of logistics industry specialization,diversification,agglomeration and competitiveness,while other regions lag behind.(2)The professionalization and diversification of the logistics industry in Yunnan Province have a significant nonlinear impact on the competitiveness of the logistics industry,which is from promotion to inhibition and from inhibition to promotion.Kunming has crossed the inflection point of specialization and diversification of the logistics industry,and the effect of the professionalization and diversification of the logistics industry on the improvement of the logistics competitiveness has gradually weakened.The diversification of the logistics industry is conducive to the improvement of the competitiveness of the logistics industry.Other prefectures have not crossed the inflection point of specialization and diversification clustering.Compared to diversification clustering,specialized clustering in the logistics industry can better promote the competitiveness level of the logistics industry.(3)The impact of logistics industry agglomeration in different regions on the competitiveness of the logistics industry varies.Compared to eastern prefecture cities,the impact of logistics industry agglomeration on industrial competitiveness in western prefecture cities is relatively small,and the promotion and inhibition effect on logistics industry competitiveness is not significant.(4)The scale effect and knowledge and technology spillover effect generated by the specialization and diversification clustering of the logistics industry can better promote the improvement of the competitiveness level of the logistics industry compared to the resource allocation effect. |
