With the continuous development of the market economy,more and more small and medium-sized enterprises have emerged in China.As one of the important driving forces of the country’s economic development,the development of SMEs is also receiving more and more attention.With their large scale and flexible composition,SMEs can greatly mobilise the vitality of local economic development and at the same time solve a large number of employment problems.The question of how to enable SMEs to survive and develop better,especially for enterprises in their early years of establishment,and how to do well and also to do well for a long time,is particularly important.Effectively improving employee satisfaction can enhance the overall productivity and operational efficiency of an enterprise.A large number of scholars at home and abroad have conducted research on the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction in SMEs.This study takes an H company as an example and analyses in depth the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction in H company.Based on the literature analysis method,this paper analyses the existing studies and initially screens out the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction.Combined with the interview method,the research hypothesis is further developed and the established scale is improved to design a measurement scale that is consistent with this study.By distributing questionnaires and collecting data,the questionnaires were analysed for reliability and validity using SPSS,on the basis of which the data were further analysed.In this study,we found that five main factors influence job satisfaction: job background,job rewards,job relationships,job content and personal development,and corporate management.These five factors affect the job satisfaction of employees in a variety of ways.Job context has a long-term impact on employees’ perceptions of their environment,and a good working environment is effective in increasing job satisfaction.Job rewards as a direct incentive can have a direct impact on job satisfaction.Relationships have an impact on job satisfaction but to a lesser extent than job rewards.
