Evaluation Of The Suitability Of Innovation Eco-location In The Eastern Region Of China

With the introduction of the regional integration strategy,China’s economic development has gradually emerged as a "regional" feature,and the national macro strategy has also proposed to take advantage of the strengths and weaknesses of local conditions,pool the advantageous resources of regional innovation,improve the mechanism of collaborative development of regional innovation by optimizing the allocation of resources,and then improve the regional innovation capacity.Therefore,it has become more urgent to have a deeper understanding of the development of regional innovation ecosystem in China,and the eastern region is the region with the highest level of economic development among the central and western eastern regions of China,which has rich innovation resources.Based on the above background,this paper firstly uses literature research method and visualization analysis method to sort out and summarize the relevant research theories,and then uses Citespace software to visualize and analyze the literature on the research topics of regional innovation ecosystem during 2000-2022.The research on regional innovation ecosystem in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is more,while the research on other regional innovation ecosystem with different regional characteristics is still missing and needs to be added.Then,this study combines the regional innovation ecosystem theory and ecological niche theory,constructs a scientific and reasonable innovation ecological niche suitability evaluation index system,and evaluates the suitability of innovation ecological niche of 10 provinces and cities in the eastern region from 2016 to 2020 based on the regional innovation ecological niche suitability evaluation model,so as to explore and analyze the differences in the ecological niche suitability of innovation ecosystems in each province and city within the eastern region.At the same time,the spatial heterogeneity and coupling relationship of innovation ecolocation suitability in the three eastern economic regions were analyzed.The results show that(1)the suitability of the innovation ecosystem in each province and city in the eastern region has been improved to different degrees in the past five years,and the top three provinces have been Beijing,Guangdong and Jiangsu,while Fujian,Hebei and Hainan are in the bottom.In addition,the overall evolutionary momentum of each province and city is above 0.5,and the suitability of the innovation ecosystem in the eastern region has more room for improvement in the future.(2)There is a certain spatial heterogeneity in the suitability of the innovation ecological niche in the eastern region,which is mainly caused by a combination of inter-and intra-regional unevenness,with a large gap in the suitability of the innovation ecological niche in the southeast coastal economic region,followed by the northern coastal economic region and the eastern coastal economic region.(3)The innovation ecological coupling degree in the eastern region has been improved in 2016-2020,and a multi-level and wide-field innovation network structure of the northern,central and southern regions has been formed in the eastern region;however,there is a large variability in the innovation ecological coupling degree among provinces and cities within the three eastern economic regions.
