Niche Fitness Measurement And Health Evaluation Of Furniture Sectoral Innovation Ecosystem

As the most important end product of the forestry industry chain,wood furniture accounts for more than 65% of the total furniture products.After the implementation of the forest cutting quota and a comprehensive ban on natural forest commercial logging policy,furniture enterprises with solid wood furniture production and wood resource advantages have been greatly impacted.At the same time,covering the whole field of furniture safety standard system has been basically completed,restricted the production behavior of furniture manufacturing enterprises,but also put forward new requirements for the overall technical level of furniture manufacturing.Some small and medium-sized furniture manufacturers,which rely on extensive management mode but lack technical transformation and innovation ability,have closed down,and the whole Chinese furniture industry has been greatly affected.The COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the world has made Chinese furniture enterprises even more difficult.Innovation is the main source for China’s furniture industry to cope with the constantly changing external environment and maintain and improve its competitive advantage.It is also the only way for furniture manufacturing enterprises to survive and develop and for furniture industry to realize transformation and upgrading.Combined with the lack of low-tech manufacturing industry background in the existing theoretical research and the urgent need for innovation and upgrading of China’s furniture industry,this paper analyzes the development status of China’s furniture industry by taking 53 furniture industry characteristic regions listed and certified by China Furniture Industry Association and 14 provinces(autonomous prefectures)where emerging industrial parks are located as research objects.Identify the key factors affecting the innovation of furniture industry,grasp the formation of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,through the study of the healthy operation of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,and explore the countermeasures for the healthy and sustainable development of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,including the following aspects:First of all,this paper defines the connotation of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,defines the boundary of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,the characteristics of the innovation,the characteristics of the ecosystem and the characteristics of the complex adaptive system,and on this basis,interprets the connotation of the health of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem based on the deep understanding of the industrial innovation ecosystem and the characteristics of Chinese furniture sectoral innovation,Combining theory with reality,the paper combs out the theoretical basis related to the healthy development of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem.The theoretical system of system science,the theoretical system of complexity science and the theoretical system of ecosystem science provide a solid and powerful theoretical analysis basis for the research of this paper,and provide a research paradigm and theoretical framework for the analysis of the formation,operation and healthy development of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem.Secondly,this paper systematically describes the development status of China’s furniture industry from the perspective of the whole industry,sub-industry development pattern and enterprise development pattern,reviews the development process of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,and clarifies the innovation characteristics of the furniture industry in different development stages through the development and change of China’s furniture industry clusters at different stages.It analyzes the driving force for the formation of furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,introduces the DPSIR theoretical framework commonly used in natural ecosystem analysis,and analyzes the formation process of furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem from five aspects: driving force,pressure,state,influence and response.This paper analyzes the typical characteristics of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem from the perspective of ecology and complex adaptive system,analyzes the internal structure and function of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem from the perspective of system theory,and analyzes the operating mechanism,co-integration mechanism and incentive mechanism of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem based on the comprehensive model of functional structure to reveal the healthy operation mechanism of furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem.Thirdly,the furniture industry cluster,the relevant institutions in the province where it is located and the abiotic innovation environment in which it is located are regarded as a sectoral innovation ecosystem,and an index system consisting of 22 measurement indicators from 7perspectives including economy,resources,services,market,system,technology and informatization is constructed.The niche suitability model is used to measure the niche suitability of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem in 14 provinces where 53 industrial clusters are located in 2020,so as to analyze and compare the provincial differences between the real niche and the optimal niche in each province,which can be used to compare the advantages and disadvantages more targeted.Finding out the main factors affecting the niche suitability of furniture manufacturing industry is conducive to finding the reasons for the diversified and differentiated development of furniture industry cluster and exploring the effective path to reasonably construct and optimize the innovation ecosystem of furniture industry.Finally,combined with the actual characteristics of China’s furniture sectoral innovation,the system functionality and industrial innovation environment friendliness are integrated into Costanza’s VOR model,and an improved FEVOR model is proposed as the basic framework for the health evaluation of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem.Referring to the index system of niche suitability measurement of the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem,the grey rough set method was used to reduce 107 indicators in the primary index system,and finally the furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem health evaluation index system consisting of31 indicators from five dimensions,including system function,environmental friendliness,main body vitality,organizational structure and stress recovery was determined.The health of furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem in 14 provinces was evaluated scientifically.Based on the theoretical framework of the healthy development of furniture sectoral innovation ecosystem and the results of health evaluation,the effective countermeasures to promote its healthy development are put forward.
