Research On The Influence Of Informatization On High-quality Economic Development

With the upgrading of economic aggregates and changes in the main social contradictions,high-quality development has become the theme of China’s economic and social development.The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that high-quality development is the primary task of constructing a modern socialist country.As the key to the fusion development of the four modernizations,informatization has become an important power source for China’s economic development,and is of great significance for optimizing industrial structure and promoting high-quality economic development.Therefore,this paper analyzes the impact of informatization on high-quality economic development based on econometric models,which provides decision-making reference for promoting high-quality economic development.Firstly,this paper composes and summarizes the relevant researches and explores the impact mechanism of informatization on economic high-quality development.Secondly,the regional informatization indicator system is constructed based on information infrastructure,information technology industry,information service application and informatization development environment,and the indicators are assigned with entropy weight fuzzy consistency complementary judgment matrix to measure the informatization level of China’s provinces and cities from 2011 to 2020.Meanwhile,based on the new development concept,the levels of high-quality economic development of each province and city in China are measured.Next,three methods of kernel density estimation,Thiel index decomposition and Moran index are used to analyze the spatiotemporal evolution of China’s provincial informatization level and the level of high-quality economic development,respectively.Further,the impact of informatization on high-quality economic development is analyzed based on panel fixed-effects model,spatial Durbin model and panel threshold model.Finally,recommendations for countermeasures are proposed by combining the results of theoretical and empirical analyses in order to take full advantage of the driving effect of informatization to improve the quality of regional economic development.The research results show that:(1)both regional level of informatization and high quality economic development in China have positive spatial correlation,and the regional wholeness of informatization development in Yangtze River Delta is apparent.(2)Regional informatization has a significant positive contribution to high-quality economic development.On average,each 1% increase of regional informatization level will increase the level of high quality economic development by 0.458%.There is negative spatial spillover effects of informatization on economic high-quality development,and the development of informatization will amplify the heterogeneity of regional economic high-quality development.(3)There is a double threshold effect of regional informatization on high quality economic development,and its impact is diminishing regarding the marginal utility of information infrastructure and information technology industry.The research results indicate that regions should accelerate the development of informatization,emphasize the deep-level development of informatization,make full use of the spatial correlation of informatization and high-quality economic development,and promote the economy to achieve effective improvement of quality and rational growth of quantity.
